I saw them on the "Storm In Heaven" tour at the Mayan in LA. It remains one of my most magical concert experiences ever. This brings it back.

They were and still are some of the most inspirational bands ever. The 4 of them were some else together. Nick's guitar squalls are endlessly intensely beautiful and ferocious at once. Amazing.

Easy to forget how Verve were out of step with the times, when this was recorded. Nirvana steamrollered everything back then. Nothing else seemed relevant in the months after the release of Nevermind.
