Amazing band, I don't know why it's so unknown and underrated.

This is an amazing band, and the Peel Sessions versions of these songs blows away the studio version. Thanks for uploading.

I think I read an article somewhere in an independent music magazine that said that they were the musical equivalent of a Banana-nut Brillo Pad. Knowing me back in those days, I would've bought the CD just off of that review alone. I listened to this album a lot when it came out and found it to be both an exhilarating & exhausting experience at the same time. There was no way they were going to be able to keep up that momentum (ahem..velocity) long. I loved the brief period were Sub Pop put out noise pop bands.

Damn this is top shelf!! I remember getting Copacetic back in like '93-'94, and really digging it. Strange, as I was weaned on stuff like Slayer, but I suppose my instant love for 'Shoegazing' bands like Lush, Pale Saints, etc... that led to other horizons. I would guess this is what is called "power pop" I always called it 'college rock' because you only ever heard the obscure stuff like this, on college radio or "120 Minutes" Sunday nights on MTV. Also going with '57 Waltz' as my favorite. Much gratitude to you for uploading this. The sound quality far surpasses that of the LP. Peace and excellent health, from Michigan! ✌🏻☮🤘🏻
