Type 4 pls.... Initially thought I was a SP 1w9, then tested as a SP 3w4, then a SP 4w5 and was parading as that type for 2 years. But some things didn't fit so I researched, dug deep, was honest with myself, retook the test: SO 4w3. I was initially leaning more on my 5 wing during the pandemic. Everything fits now and I'm dreadfully uncomfortable. Point being, Abs... type 4 video might be nice :-) P.S. Cameo from Lemon Drop wouldnt hurt either :P

Man, being a type 9 is crazy. I feel like no one expects me to be angry, not even myself, and yet I get angry more than the average person. (9w8)

Someone messaging me with "Can you talk?" or "Please call me when you have a second" with no context was pretty alarming. So much so, that I'd often avoid replying because I'd start dreading what it might be about. Recently, however, I've started setting some boundaries and replying back with something along the lines of "I'm much more comfortable when I can prepare for a call, especially in cases where I don't have the benefit of knowing what the call is about. I feel it helps the other person, too, since I'm better able to respond to their questions. Can you please provide some info so I can prepare accordingly?" Scared the hell out of me, but I'm glad I did it.

I’m married to a 9 and I guarantee we’ve had the fire conversation before 😅. And trying to figure out what to eat…ever. And catastrophizing. But his overall chill attitude and love of creature comforts is a great complement to my sometimes intense, anxiety-driven fiveness.

Yuuuuup, you just crawled inside my head and wrote down my internal monologue. 3 hurts though. I will say falling back to a 6's habits during the early pandemic did mean I was fully prepared with a second hand bread machine and flour a week before everyone else thought about it though.

My best friend is a 9 and this was hilarious! I’d love to see it for all the types (I mean it’s only fair that if the 9s are being called out we should all be).

I'm a 5 with 9 in my tritype. Some of these are relatable enough that I briefly question if I am actually a 5 and not a 9. But then I remember that I am frequently pessimistic, nihilistic, irritable, and argumentive. Sorry to my 9 friends for whenever I have succumbed to the temptation to ruin their peace by saying something like "do you ever think about how one day we'll all be dead, and none of our lives will have mattered?"

9w8 here. I'm guilty of point #3, comparing myself to others and not following through with my passions. I had this dream of writing a book about a year and a half ago. I had a name and a concept in mind, and even started writing the book, but unfortunately stoped about halfway through. I got busy doing other things and didn't prioritise writing. I also had this fear that people might not like my book, and I wouldn't be able to handle the criticism. Your video inspired me to get back into writing. (I'm in a pretty busy time in my life though, so it might take a little while.) Thank you for helping me be aware of this!!

Most annoying thing about 9s is that they try to end conflicts while my 8 ass hasn't finished yet.
@karmakauffman74452 жыл бұрын
Most annoying thing about 9s for me is that they’ll say they’ll do something they really don’t want to do just to avoid conflict and then never do what they said they’d do. Sigh.

overcoming conflict avoidance is a big challenge (and win!) for Nines in their growth journey ♥️
@cmpicha29342 жыл бұрын
@@karmakauffman7445 I can't argue with that one. Being a type 1, that's a great way to get on my bad side.

@@AbbeyHowe ironically I know a very unhealthy 9 that could benefit from learning about proper conflict avoidance, instead of his version which is "whatever keeps the deeply unhealthy 6 that he is latched onto appeased, even if it ends up alienating other loved ones in the process".

This is was a lot like me when I was younger. I'm way more consciously angry, now. It's exhausting to express it, though, so I still have a reputation as mellow and laid back.

I feel called out. I avoid responding to messages because people cause me stress because I tend to... not only get pulled into intense people's whirlpools of drama, but I get pulled into the gentlest current of gentle people existing in the world and still manage to lose myself.

I can lay and relax all day in my bed with my favorite hobbies and need to take more action towards my daily living skills and future dreams and goals. I know that I have prediabetes, hypothyroidism, and anemia along with C-PTSD with a couple more mental illnesses but this is still no excuse to longue all day and let life pass me by. I must take care of my overall health and do better with the 8 dimensions of wellness. I definitely need more energy and exercise in my life along with time management.

#5! And #6! Lol. #5 I'm like this, but only with headstrong types that never really care about what I want anyway and it drains more energy to say what I really want ( my dad being one of them, but he's a parent so what am I to do?!?! And an 8 at that! Boyfriend too). Majority of the people who've been in my life are considerate and will ask my true opinion, not steamrolling at all, but I definitely have some steamroller folks that I just don't have the energy to go back and forth with proclaiming what I want, when I know they're just going to do what they want anyway. Particularly 8s and 1s lbvvs. (And it's not about losing them more than it's about draining my energy. I don't want to lose these people but that has not been a CORE fear, as losing energy).
