brainana does work, it just depends on how much brains the zombie hero has like for example, if the zombie hero has 4 brains left and you play brainana, the zombie hero will lose 4 brains the entire game so you played brainana while the zombie hero had 0 brains left so that’s why it didn’t work for you.

Hey fry, I don’t know if you’ll see this comment, but I just thought I’d let you know that the brainana actually only works by only taking the amount of brains lost when it was played. The 1st time it took 0 brains away since the bot was at 0 brains already, but the 2nd time if you notice, turn 9 the bot only got 6 brains because when you played brainana it lost only 3 brains

Balancing Token Cards: *(TLDR: Just read the bolded text)* *1. Magic Beanstalk: {Health: 3}* Not a lot of good zombies have a strength of 3 (a notable exception would be cyborg zombie). However, a lot of hearty decks run going viral which typically buffs a zombie usually from a strength of 2 to a strength of 3. Wrath now one-shots this. Octo-pult, Pied Piper, Yeti and its lunchbox does well now too. There are not a lot of "direct" interactions which change because of this but this is a nerf nevertheless and you might come across scenarios where that 1 health will matter. *2. Sow Magic Beans: "Draw a card"* Now that the actual token itself is weakened, let's test this idea again. I know that it affects Dino-roar minions again but that's because cards like Tricarrotops are already great. *3. Moon Bean: {Strength: 3, Health: 4}* This now has above-average stats for a 3 cost card. This most likely is enough to make it an option to consider. Also, apart from Captain Cucumber, Mega Grow class doesn't have any worthy 3-drops which helps too. *4. Typical Beanstalk: {Strength: 2, Health: 6}; "Start of Tricks: If there is a leafy card here or next door, conjure a leafy card"; Remove the old ability* This card was weak because you can't invest in two leafy cards in the same turn and leafy cards generally are not that strong to begin with. However, with these stats and this ability, this card now could act like an engine which keeps pumping new cards to play. This has nothing to do with tokens but since it shares the same name, I thought that I might as well address this card too. *5. Leprechaun Imp: "When played: Shuffle two Pots of Gold into your deck."* I made it how it used to be but there is a caveat now. *6. Pot of Gold: {Cost: 2}* Drawing three cards at the price of 2 is fine but what's not fine is running a below average card to hope that you might get it but never get it till the end of the game. This will make it less desirable in the early-game but just as strong as it used to be in the late-game. *7. Sappy Place: "If plants here belong to the almighty pinecone or tree tribe, they get +2 [Strength]"* I still don't know what makes Sap-Fling an undesirable option. But if it is because it doesn't deal enough damage, the change is fine or even necessary to an extent. Also, let the buff to strength be permanent like in Hunting Grounds instead of like in Area 22. *Rest of the token cards are fine as they are.*

A new system for the Block Meter: *(TLDR: Just read "NEW SYSTEM")* *Flaws of the existing system:* While the randomness is not parasitic and might even be fun sometimes, it is too random. There are a few outcomes which involve even a precision of 0.046% chance. While such a system is good enough for casual and ranked play, it is not good for tournaments or any competitive play even if a player is strategic enough to play as optimally as possible and is capable of accounting for randomness. *NEW SYSTEM:* 1. Block Meter can initially store a total of 6, 8 or 10 charges (33.33% chance for each of them) in a game; both you and the enemy player have your own block meter as usual and can see how much both of the block meters can store currently. 2. Whenever the enemy hero is hit by a non-bullseye minion, block meter _always_ gets charged by 2 charges. When the block meter is fully charged, the hit doesn't damage the enemy hero and they get their superpower as usual; along with that, the block meter storage might be changed and will store a total of 6, 8 or 10 charges. 3. As usual, the enemy hero can block a maximum of three times in a game. Also, the block meter can neither store up to 6 charges thrice in the same game nor store up to 10 charges thrice in the same game. This is to minimize any parasitic/unfair luck which comes whenever a random system is made transparent. This accounts for a total of only 25 random different combinations throughout the entire game which is way better compared to the old system. 4. I did not make the system completely deterministic as the game might become stale and boring. A controlled amount of asymmetry is fun and will keep you at the edge of your seats. *Example:* In a game, the block meter initially stores up to 8 charges. Upon getting fully charged after exactly 4 hits (no bullseye minions, monkey pirate, bodygourd or mars flytrap shenanigans), the fourth hit gets blocked and now it can store up to 6 charges. Upon getting fully charged after exactly 3 hits, the third hit gets blocked again and now it can store up to 8 charges. Upon getting fully charged after exactly 4 hits, the fourth hit gets blocked and since you have blocked three times already, that's it. In this case, the block meter storage can be represented as (8, 6, 8) but it could also be (6, 6, 8), (10, 8, 6), (8, 8, 8) or (10, 10, 6) but it can _never_ be (6, 6, 6) or (10, 10, 10) for balancing purposes. *WHAT CARDS WILL BE AFFECTED?* 1. First up, now you can more reliably play high-attack minions. California rolls and virginia rolls won't dynamically affect the game, cause some bullshit and make you win/lose in an undeserving manner even if you normally wouldn't have. 2. Mars Flytrap: Since the block meter gets charged by 2 charges always, the first attack is basically always bullseye and the second attack is a normal hit and since it steals one charge with each successful attack, by the second attack, it would have stored 2 charges which effectively causes your block meter will require one less hit to fully charge. If you play Mars Flytrap to the left of a high-attack plant instead of some other plant, it would make it more likely for the high-attack minion to land a hit; I'll leave it up to you to guess why. 3. Overall, Mars Flytrap card will become better. However, when compared to a bullseye minion like Galacta-Cactus, even though they provide roughly the same value, this is still weaker because Galacta-Cactus provides an extremely strong offense which is always good but this provides a weaker offense compared to Galacta-Cactus (which is still pretty good, for what it is worth) but makes it up by providing a situationally great defense. Charging the enemy hero's block meter is _always_ bad because the hit getting blocked is just one thing but you also have to consider that the enemy hero also gets a superpower which is a broken card. On the other hand, defense depends somewhat on what the enemy deck has. 4. Monkey Smuggler: Same argument as Mars Flytrap. The card will hence become more reliable overall by the same argument. 5. Body-Gourd: Same argument as Monkey Smuggler and Mars Flytrap. Without california and virginia rolls in the picture, you can confidently assess when to place this card for the maximum value. This card will have the most positive impact overall by these changes. 6. Bullseye minions: If the block meter is fully charged by Body-Gourd, Monkey Smuggler or Mars Flytrap, even the bullseye minions should block. The whole premise behind the bullseye minions is that they won't charge the block meter but in this case, it is already fully charged; all it needs is one more hit to cause a block. This way, the above three cards (especially Body-Gourd) would become even better and bullseye minions become slightly weaker against Body-Gourd. 7. Spyris: It will now let you know how much your block meter and the enemy hero block meter will store throughout the entire game. It will show you something like (6, 6, 10) , (8, 8, 6), (10, 8, 6) or likewise on both your side and the enemy hero's side. This card is weak and so any buff (even if it is minor) is good for it.

No, it's a bug. It just removes however many brains the opponent has (up to 6) for the rest of the game. The first time didn't work because the opponent had no brains. The second time he lost 3 brains because that's how many brains they had last turn.
