Wow! Way to throw in the towel before the match begins. Use rake to move each wind-row closer to each other, then combine both to one wind-row. Farmers have to make what they have work, they can't complain about not having the correct equipment.

@@koltonwagler1223 Tha was The Squads plan, to combine wind-rows to make baleing faster. His rake's width was insufficient to reach both swaths, so he gave up the idea of raking the straw.

@@koltonwagler1223 Realistically, grass or anything that is cut green has to be dried in the field before it can be baled. If the grass (or straw) has to much residual moisture, it is wet from rain or dew, bailing it will cause it to start to decompose. Basically, the center of each bale will slowly turn into silage and the outside to rotten straw. If these 'wet' bales are tightly stacked this happens to the entire stack. I've personally cut, turned, and raked a lot of grass, many thousands of round bales. So, realistically you cut your grass, the John Deere 900 series has two 'pinch' rollers to break the grass along it's length to speed the drying process, but still the grass will dry for two or three days and then the grass is turned over and left to dry a day or two. Then the swaths are combined (two or three swaths) into a wind-row. Only then is it baled.

Wouldn't make sense to do that. If I have two wind-rows far apart, I would rather run over them with the baler individually then running them over with the rake like 4 times just to combine it into one windrow
