When I was young, my computer wasn't good enough to run FSX, so I ended up playing FS2004 instead. The graphics looked pretty decent at the time, and just the fact that I could fly around the entire world in an airplane felt absolutely amazing

MSFS2004 is a big part of my childhood. I thank you for this content. It really means a lot to me. I became an actual Airline Pilot because of MSFS2004!!

Is there a reason you're playing this or do you also play the newer sims as well.

I guess once you see smooth AI traffic and you can have lots of traffic running at every airport (instead of empty airports, or just stationary AI aircrafts, that I see in many KZbin videos for the newer sims), I stick with FS2004.

It is a valid sim, I use P3D mainly but sometimes I go back and use FS9, it can still do what you want unless you are being picky like finding a good camera addon and such. It lacks that polish that modern sims have in that regard, but it has airports like Novosibirsk, I can't get that on P3D so sometimes I'll go back just to fly there.

I stick with fs9 because on my new computer i can play it on ultra everytbing and still hav 60+ fps. I o ly 2 issues. I am not good with fsuipc so my new Virpil hotas and peddals are really sensative. I have not figured out how to solve that. And 2 alot of the ai plane creatos stop making anytbi g for fs9 so i have no 787s or 350s on my sim. That is not to big of a deal i just replace them with old school a340s and 777s. Lol.

Did you make this scenery yourself or is it and addon?

It was made using AFCAD and EZ-scenery. That's why it doesn't look great

It looks pretty darn good to me.. I left afcad a long while ago and started using ADE by scruffyduck. Almost the same thing as afcad, but you can move buildings around and what not. You can also remove unwanted scenery. I am sure you have been to an airport on fs 9 where a building or tree was right in the middle of the taxi way. With ADE you remove that AFCAD you can not. I am going to look into EZ Scenery.

Why was runway 07L named as runway 08? Is it due to a FS2004 limitation?

Yes it is. If I rename the old 07L to 07C, the ILS will still be seen as linked to "07L" and not be seen as linked to 07C, which will be confusing if I then have a new 07L

@StillusingFS2004 That's a pretty interesting workaround. It will probably be accurate in the future if ever HKG decides to build a new runway next to the new 07L .Then you'll have 08L and 08R 😄

Fake. My Fs2004 upgraded was Better than fsx for a lot o thing. This Is the fs2004 default in love graphics parameter

It isn't fake. Just that I overlayed it with AFCAD and EZ-scenery buildings
