Excellent video. Very valuable service to show us this. That last update (1.3) wasn't very good. The autopilot issue and then I'm having trouble going in and out of my plane (the view). I have to click two to three times. Hopefully this fixes that. Update went smoothly thanks to you.

I’ve just noticed that problem with toggling the view from internal to external as well. Seems to have happened as a result of updating to v1.3 strangely.

Velocity customer support has issued a rollback script as the -1.3.3 causes problems! It takes you back to the first setup. A fix is to follow!

“Lots of room for improvement in the future” unfortunately an understatement, based on what I am seeing in your timely and excellent video still not ready for prime time. Thank you for politely letting us know these indicator lights are, for the most part still not working. Autopilot On/Off not working? The fine folks at Turtle Beach do need a little more time at the drawing board. Far too excellent a product not to get these details ironed out. You saved me a great deal of time. Again, Thank You!

Hey Huddison. Update: I recieved a brand new flight stick after mine crashed after latest update. Great Canadian customer support. From the day I sent it in to the day I received it back was 6 business days. Amazing. I can now recommend them again. 🥳

Great video, as always. Hopefully this is (somehow??) coming to XBox soon... maybe via the Turtle Beach app. Sadly, two of the main lights I want; speed brakes and reverse thrust; don't look as if they will be implemented at all. I would dearly like to see the 10 quadrant button lights click on/off, so that you can tell if (aircraft lights in my case) are on or not. This would also free up some SIP spaces for other lights. Turtle Beach, if you are listening.... On the plus side the Chrono now seems to work properly. I have a Brother label printer with black on clear tapes, which I have used to make SIP and buttons labels and it works very well.

Mine stopped working after less than 5 minutes of use after trying to do the update. Now it only shows Update Mode and won’t get out of that mode after trying all of the fixes that I could find on the internet! This system is a piece of crap for me! 10/22/2022 I contacted Turtle Beach and they reach out to me the next day and sent me the PDF file and the link to another file to fix my Velocity One Flight Yoke using a PC. I actually used my laptop to get my Velocity One fixed/updated. Now everything works as it should.

I do have a question that is not video related. how to dyou know how to find the runways you are directed to for take off and for landing. I know they are painted on them but if you do not have the settings to have the game show you the path to land or to taxi how do you know which one to go to?

TB recommend rolling back to 1.2 firmware and sip connect. It should really be operational in this update.

My Velocity one still has a 'sticky' feeling after 9 months of use. Any ideas? Silicone grease on the shaft? It's unrealistic and a nuisance. Trim wheel is a bug bare of mine also.

Hello Hudson. I've unfortunately had a problem with updating latest firmware on Series X. After following the exact instructions, the control center said update failed. Since then (two days ago) the unit is stuck in update mode. I've tried every trouble shooting tip available with no luck. Do you know if it's possible to factory reset the velocityone? I can't find this option on the net, but figure there has to be a way. Sorry for long note, but you're my last resort. 😀

Try not selecting any flight sim from the TB icon in the tray widget (what ever it’s called). I was having issues as well on PC. I have V1F firmware v1.5, SIP Connect v1.4. I made the following changes. I don’t have SIP Connect or it’s shortcut in the shell:startup folder. I do have SIP Connect and it’s support files in their expanded folder as per TB instructions on my Desktop. I have an SIP Connect shortcut in my Taskbar. My startup routine is this: 1) Start up PC, wait for that to complete. 2) Launch MSFS 2020. 3) While that is starting up, I open my browser to Simbrief to create a FP. My preference, not really necessary. I download my FP to my PC to import it to MSFS later. 4) Once MSFS 2020 is fully loaded, I click on the TB icon in the Taskbar to launch SIP Connect. I DO NOT right click the TB icon in the tray and therefore DO NOT select MSFS there. If you double click the TB icon in the tray, you will launch the SIP Connect settings app. You should find MSFS already highlighted there. This is what works for me. Best of luck. 😊
