Kind of surprised how few tractors there are. All the favorites are gone too. Quite literally, very few old tractors. Most shocked the lack of claas. Really really unimpressed with this.

This is just base game. I would suspect a lot of the things that we're missing will be added as mods next week. Giants have always done that, so I would expect between 20-100 mods.

this is just base game. Giants generally released 50-100 mods of older equipment, and that's likely where we'll see the other stuff.

Seems like they really trimmed the selection down and shifted toward larger equipment in general. I really wish their was more 70s-90s mid-size equipment. Not everyone wants to play the 2024 model equipment and the largest sized implements. Alas I guess they are passing that stuff off to modders. The two new maps which are looking great and the base-game GPS are what I'm seeking most though so it's not a total loss.

This is actually kind of disappointing. There are a lot fewer choices across almost all the categories other than trucks, cars, forestry, and weights? Like I understand that you can’t bring everything from one game to the next, but only 17 sm tractors vs 25, 15 md vs 22, and 15 lg vs 25? There’s less harvester choices as well as half the number of tele-handlers. By my rough count it’s 50- 60 less pieces of equipment base game in fs25 vs fs22 and that’s including all the new stuff for rice, beans, and peas. Plus they got rid of the the JCB fastracs my personal favorite tractors. I just don’t understand the dramatic loss of options?

if it wasnt for mods i would never play it so much equipment is rolled over from the old game, there isnt much to replicate british farming not everyone wants to use tri axle trailer or tankers etc or 300hp tractors, yes there are people who will enjoy this but every fs ive played ive used nothing thats in the base game :(

Only one American planter and its huge. Only one American seeder and its fairly small. Only two american cultivators, one small and one huge. One american disk which is huge. No american plows, fertilizer spreaders, manure or slurry spreaders, rock pickers, forage harvesters, forage equipment in general. There is some american hay equipment but its still lacking. No american small tractors, no american grain trailers that you would pull with a tractor, the list goes on and on.

License agreement and cost, Class or JD or whatever brand tells giants what machines they want in the game for a price. Giants doesn't have a big choice with stuff. Certain brands being gone usually means that license ended with that brand.

If anything, I hope that the increase of base game brands non-DLC for all platforms (Vermeer, Kubota, International, etc) will increase the amount of mods such as Vermeer mini skid for all platforms. Overall, I am a little bit disappointed with the absence of certain pieces of equipment, but am looking forward to names like International, Vermeer, Volvo, Kubota, and so much more!

Dj, it’s a small thing but can you test the Hauling capacity of the international 200, it shouldnt be as bad as the generic lizard old pickups because the 200 was international’s 3500 level truck. Im so excited for that truck since i have a flatbed 200 that we haul hay with!

Besides, as an owner of an IH D-series pickup, it’s awesome to see a spotlight get shined on a whole lineage of trucks and SUV’s that get overlooked

Honestly for about 2 years now I’ve been playing and doing only forestry. Waited so long for fs25 with hopes to get new equipment, most of all I wanted John Deere forwarders in game. What even is this?? Fs22 had better options for forestry work. I don’t care that they added a log truck, I’m very disappointed actually. Not paying 50€ for 3 harvesters and 4 forwarders :/
