NO! In fact, I would say it's worse. Plows, cultivators, spreaders and the like are starting in the middle of the fields no matter where I line up and hit H. They also just stop randomly or get stuck on light poles.

What’s really nice is the fields are already pre programmed unlike the old gps system on PC. On PC you would have to set point A, move 3 or so feet then set point B to start your lines. The GPS in 25 is much more user friendly, pretty cool! One thing I’ve never really used was headland management, it was a bit complicated on PC. This looks much easier.

Not pre programmed... it's being calculated on the fly. Otherwise the A.I would be completely useless if I created a new field with the plow.

Steering assist looks nice, but that AI worker system looks like they tried too hard to have courseplay and failed. Can you still "quick-hire" the old dumb workers that just do straight up/dns without the routing?

The way it works is that it scans the edges of the field your in so if connect 2 fields it will still work the same. It will work for custom fields on maps like no mans land to

So I watched Colonel Failure yesterday and he had issues with GPS. He was doing a Contract Weeding job with rented equipment from the mission. He was able to get the lines to show, but couldn't get it to activate. Could contracts, weeders or rented equipment effect GPS?

This is not wasted time. It is how the combine cuts into a field without messing up. The crop gently to make room to turn around some take a lot and some take less. It's doing exactly what it would do in her life. Just to make room to turn the corner. We're gamers. It looks like wasted time, but in real life that's how it's done.

I play modded U.K. maps that usually have fences or dry stone walls as the boundary and I’ve had to rescue the ai that has managed to drive into a tree or over the wall/ fence and get stuck so I like that the new ai stays within the field so hopefully my rescue missions will be a thing of the past

you should be able to avoid all the wasted time if your field has round corners. it won't stop then. just make the corners round and you are fine.

this is def the one of the best features they couldve added to the game. main reason why i didnt enjoy playing with mid to small equiptment, i just started hiring the worker simply to keep a straight and efficient line. 😂

I did notice the workers are going counter clockwise around the fields 🤔. I would've thought they would go clockwise which makes sense for harvesting. But they are doing weird things I noticed 🤔🤦‍♂️. they are definitely doing it the slow way. Just get Outta the tractor I'll do it myself 😬😂

I'd say it's different enough to where it's not a copy. The graphics have changed and there are tons of new features and quality of life improvements. It is similar, but not a complete copy of FS22.

after using the AI for a while... it is fairly rubbish... too often it "lose" the field and can't find it and tadaa you need to run it manually... steering assist works BRILLIANTLY though...
