FS2Crew Animated First Officer for FBW A320

This is more impressive than I thought it would be. I also see a huge opportunity for AI here. Not just for the co-pilot, but also in the way and speed in which we interact with them. Responses currently feel much more robotic than the interactions between pilot and co-pilot in real life. I hope FS2Crew are planning for the use of AI in their products.

Whats interesting is that our sim aircraft are beginning to look so realistic that the FO looks like a cartoon. The fenix has even more realistic textures. We need a big jump in human animation within the sim

Hey Salt, what's the chance you can do a full flight from Jo'burg to Cape Town using SLC 1.6 Update, FSHud and FS2crew? I would like to see how you mesh all three together.

is there any way the copilot execute orders a little bit faster , for example flaps and gear is to slow . it will be able for exectute ecam actions with failures?

I love it! I was a tad surprised by the price which seems a little high to me. But yeah, this looks amazing. Being able to see what he's doing is great. And the checklist part was quite good as well.

Pretty cool. Is there a female version? Seems a bit slow to respond , which kills the immersion. Gear up command took several seconds before registering. Hopefully they will improve this. And once they connect to a chatgpt type API in addition to a more natural voice (actually voices, so we can choose accent), then we'll be able to hold decent conversations during crz 😊

So you can still change the accent in FS2Crew as normal, but it's currently just the one model available.

FO is the pilot monitoring, not the pilot flying.

The co pilot usually won’t touch the controls unless required. They deal with all buttons and help with buttons and communications etc.

This seems pretty cool, but the price is a little steep, especially if they release one for each of their products...it could really add up to a lot.

No info on this at the moment but I'd say it will depend on the response to this. If it's popular then they will most likely add it to the other aircraft as well.

I have both the FS2crew and the FS2crew animated first officer. Which one I should lauch first. I launched both and I hear two voices one from FS2crew and anther from FS2crew animated first Officer app.

The standard FS2Crew just needs to be installed. Then only launch the Animated FO one 😊

Biggest issue I have with FS2CREW stuff in MSFS is that their addons aren't VR compatible.

Huh? I use their products full time in VR. PMDG & Fenix have been compatible with VR since day one.

@@shanewalker5015 how? Main panel where all the info is show only in 2D, outside MSFS, as a separate app. No panel to show in MSFS, via tab menu. But ok, I will test it via FSdesktop.

@@Pe11ePD You can control FS2Crew via the MSFS Tool (FS2Crew Command Center). That's what VR users do.

There is an option in FS2Crew for button control 😊 you use a Primary and Secondary key to trigger and work through the checklists and flows.
