I'd never heard that term before (I'm Spanish), but if it means what I think it does, I think there is nothing against in in the regulations.

Actually no, teams must use equal tyres on the same axle. This essentially eliminates the possibility of having stagger.

@@borzonstudios8638 I thought it meant assymetric compound tyres (inside/outside), while all equal, my bad. On the thing I thought it was, AFAIK there is nothing in Technical against it.

I follow the Formula Student rulebook, which is somewhat different than the FSAE one. If you check regulation T.2.5.2 on the 2019 rule book: "Tires on the same axle must have the same manufacturer, size and compound."

@@borzonstudios8638 Yes, I follow the FSG rulebook, I meant in the same tyre a different compound side to side, I agree with left and right of the whole car.
