The cool this truck is, i used to watch the movie when i was a kid and this truck is just a masterpiece. But I guess to drive this thing, probably only works in most states of america to get a street legal. We may not forget, that this truck in some parts is a remodel. The engine hood is not a normal one cause of the big goblinface. So this also means the truck has excess length. When you sit on the driverseat you definitley have a restricted view on the road cause of the head and the ears. And what is with the grille? There is the goblinface. All in all it is not made for a normal day use. But I think that counts for lot of movie vehicles. lol

one thing is definitley missing on this replica. The goblins eyes do not glow red. lol The original face has red lights in the eyes u can turn on, to make it look more devil. But otherwise, its a very good replica of the original one. ^^

@@mulisha0351 The face is a really good copy of the original almost perfect. But some details are actually different. There is an older man who restored the original fronthood with the goblinface from the movie and travels around with it for shows. One difference is the upper jaw. The original goblin face from the movie has a more curved smile from the teeth in the upper jaw. The replica here with the full truck the front has a more straight teeth line in the upper jaw while smiling. Even the cheeks are bit higher. But besides that, it is still a great replica.

I noticed every other car on the road stayed around the vicinity of the Goblin thinking WOW, here comes another load of joy. That had to feel like you were the king of the road. It's such an American movie Icon. Unless you were born under a rock and stayed under a rock your whole life, there is no way you would not know about the movie Maximum Overdrive and this truck being the mechanical star of the movie. It was a low budget chart topper that everyone seemed to love. I have watched the movie over a dozen times in my life and plan on watching it again. How can you not love the use of Demon trucks taking over with AC/DC playing as the music score? It was genius. The actors were great but honestly anyone could have been actors in the movie and it still would have been a success. It was just a great idea set into a movie.

Thats so awsome, as a kid in the 90's this was my all time favorite movie, this and then later the movie "trucks" came out in 97. As a kid they had me scared to walk to close or in front of parked semi's😄 i thought theyd really wake up and run everbody down. Man that truck is a national treasure. I tryed to watch that movie again last year and lets just say, some things are better in my memories😄. I'll still never forget watching my two favorite big rig movies over and over as a kid. I had a '70s W900A blow my doors off in Nebraska once. Couldn't mistake that screamin' Jimmy. Heard it about three minutes before I saw it, and for three minutes after I couldn't see it anymore. Beautiful turquoise color, driver seemed like a cool cat, think he said it was an 8V92. We ratchet-jawed for the three to four minutes we were in range (they were hauling ass, I was in a 72 mph fleet truck). That brought a smile to this big kid's face too, and so did seeing this truck.

I'm almost positive this movie is responsible for my love of trucks. I remember seeing it on a local TV station in 99 or 2000. Plus anyone that has watched Maximum Overdrive remember two things, this truck and the kid that gets his head squashed by that roller. You can also add Smokey and the Bandit as well. Then one day after watching I went to Walmart and bought a PC game called "Hard Truck 2" and played the crap out of it. I remember buying a old Kodak disposable camera and standing by the highway and taking pictures of the "cool" trucks coming by. So 379s 362, 352, FLB, FLC, k100s, W900, Mack R, Superliners etc But I also love all the trucks in that movie. Plus you gotta remember King made this movie on a cocaine binge 😂
