I'm a Blender user, but I found this very interesting. What is the magic that turns bump mapping into anisotropic shading? I though that was impossible. Other than displacing cylinders along a surface (which gives you the shadow term), I have always dealt with anisotropy using specialized shaders to do the job. I have also not succeeded using microdisplacement in Blender to obtain anisotropic shading. What does FStorm noise do, compared to other kinds of noises? I couldn't find anything about it in the manual.

@TextureSupply7 жыл бұрын
manoj Kumar luckily fstorm can't be torrented (cracked). But if you'd spend 1 minute on google you'd realize that the alpha version of fstorm is free to download on fstorm website :-)

thanks. i love ur tutorials .. can u make how to do it in vray.. like fingerprints on glass window. something like tht.
@TextureSupply8 жыл бұрын
Thanks :) I would do it the exact same way in V-Ray. One material for the clean glass, one material for the greasy glass (finger print) and then mix them with a fingerprint alpha map. If course it's doable inside one single material as well, but I find this mix approach a little bit easier to control.

I do not like to see poor work. No money for high-performance CPU? So use amateur video card for PC video games! Haha....
