Thanks Mr. Jordan for helping me make my Fsxste look a whole lot better . I'm not a real world pilot, but there is nothing better than to climb on your chair and get lost for a while in a virtual reality flight. I'm an Aircraft Tech Eng. But never had the pleasure of flying the real thing. I have a cousin who's a Pilot and he says that I fly better than him on FSX. Thanks for making mine a better experience..

Hi .I am also flying PMDG Boeing 737 NGX in FSX Steam edition . I always wanted to start a flight with cold and dark . But always when I come to a cockpit all systems including engines are already running . I tried some methods how to do it but any of them worked for PMDG B 737 NGX . Are you also starting with cold and dark ? If yes can you please write me how are you doing it ? Thanks .

Hey nice video, you have really awesome addons. I used to have FSX, but since I had to get a new computer which had windows 8.1, I got xplane. Xplane is really good, but doesn't have PMDG 737, and I've been dying to get this plane. Is the FSX steam version compitable with windows 8.1? I installed the disc version 6 months ago and it crashed my PC and I lost all my files on my PC. Should I give it a try?

Hey! I am considering getting FSX, and I want to get the steam edition because it would be easier to get my hands on, but I want to know a few things before I invest into it. First off, could I fly with this on VATSIM, or are the VATSIM servers for the boxed version only, I would also like to know if there's controller compatibility. I want to get the steam addition along with a Saitek Pro Flight Yoke System to get into it as a hobby, but I want to make sure it works with the system. Could you also tell me what kind of system you have to run to get maxed out setting? I would also like to know how you add add-ons. After some deeper research and looking at some of the reviews, I think I would rather get the boxed game, but could I run the original boxed game on Windows 8? It doesn't list it in the systems compatible list and I don't want to get it if it doesn't work with my PC.

***** The reviews of the steam edition are pretty bad, nearly every one is a thumbs down. It also seems that the dlc are more expensive and features are being removed and made DLC. I guess I may get the steam edition, but I am not sure if dovetail is the right hands for FS to be in.

my pmdg doesn't work on fsx steam, its panels are dead, there wasn't an opportunity to install the key to activate my plane, and the pushing any buttons in the cockpit doesn't work/move the button and may crash the simulator....any thoughts as to how you made this work on yours?

It is unfortunate that FSX-SE has the same issue as FSX when the joystick disconnects on approach. I have built my P3D ecosystem and Dovetail has a long way to go to fix many issues.

The joystick disconnecting is not an FSX problem. The problem is Windows 8. You can use fsuipc to fix this or use Windows 7. BTW Windows 10 solves this problem

Yes. Looks Fsuipc settings may have resolved the issue. I will need to further test.

Are you using dx10 with the fixer? In dx9 im pretty sure running this with all addons you would get oom error ctd??
