Great video but I'm super curious why some amateurs use non phonetics in their calls signs? Not a criticism - just curious.

Hi James, I know what you mean as some people make up different ways of saying there call sine like peter queen Jonny for the suffix. People always get the last letter of my call sign wrong, I end up repeating several times lol

Many thanks John glad you liked the video. I'm not going to be portable working WWFF as in lockdown over here. Will be glad once this covid is over. I do enjoy going portable the ft-817 is a great radio many happy days on that Radio. Best 73 and stay safe

Hi Marc I'm using a 7amp sealed battery dose the job with the 5watts. When the lockdown ends I will be portable as often as I can. 73
