On the radios bottom of main screen where power is I see DT-G for the digital tone gain. Is there a normal setting for that? I am set just above the 7 of signal strength meter. I believe that correlates to 35 on mic gain setting. It works well, But I could not find any info on the best settting. Thanks for good video and any help N6ZKI

Best setting is a balance between dt-g and wsjt-x so that your transmit just about creeping into the ALC zone, with wsjt-x level control doing the lions share of producing the signal If you are below the ALC zone, you will not be efficiently driving the finals. If you are too far into the ALC, it will 'muffle' the audio, if you are beyond the ALC it will distort the audio and cause 'splatter'. You need to keep a regular check on the ALC level because it changes with frequency and band. You will know when you have it right because you will start getting more responses even on low power. You can use the FT991a 'monitor' function to listen to your ongoing audio.

used your settings and the vertical db bar does not light up green and only has a 2 db, how do i correct this KC3WLS

KZbin has controls towards the bottom of the video window. One of them is a pause button. You can also drink more coffee.

The dx10 is a pig my kenwoods are much better

So, there is no dx10 on this video and the last time I handled one it didn't smell of swine at all. You should perhaps quit dragging your gear through the barnyard, it would probably not smell as bad.
