@janihaavisto793 жыл бұрын
Sorry answered to wrong place that Queen thing. But you're right. I think it's because Floor is so humble, and like all of NW they never think themselves so BIG that they don't need the fans. They make sure that in efery concert they have time for fan meetings and autographs. Or even to say quick Hello to fan might make he's/Her's intare day or concert experience that much sweeter.

Two perfect, beautiful, intelligent Metal ladies raising awareness about how little by little we can make a difference to preserve our planet without giving in to the negativity. So many (including government officials) can learn from them about how to approach people so maybe this current situation can be resolved a little bit better and hopefully a little bit sooner! Keep rocking ladies!🤘

Floor hit the nail on the head about how fear-mongering turns off many people. The approach these two great ladies take on the issues will change more minds or at least get more people thinking than shouting at them, "You're a horrible person if you don't think the way I do." This Floor finds concept is just perfect. Once again you are not afraid of living up to this important role model status you have, by bringing up subjects that are so important and controlled by money. And it really warms my old heart that you both are not only concerned, but also so free and strongminded that you have chosen to live in harmony with our planet, and not what is cheapest. This was a super conversation, and I really liked where you both talked about supermarket vs pigging your own berries, apples and so on, while this way of getting food is brilliant to show children and grandchildren more about where things are coming from and how they are grown or growing in the nature. 👍

I agree with Alissa we need to take care of our beautiful and only home the universe have to offer us. We need to take care of it if we still gonna live in here. Its what important to us that we can breathe and live happily in here. We might be diff people from diff countries with difference languages and culture, and we going through lot of different histories but still we are all humans, we are same species and we live in same planet which makes our home and we need all to work together as a family to take care of our common home. I want to live here and want new generations to take place here so we can show our books to the future and see how well we taking care of our beautiful planet. I want the blue, green colors of our planet still shine happily colors. I love you guys and I love this series its so fascinating to listen to and I feel we get to know each others very well. Also its a good thing that other bands communicate to other bands coz we can help a lot, share wisdom and advices and help and tips to make our home more safe and better. We become more friendly and we love each others in many ways. That what I want is everyone to be friends and live happily. :)

Thank you Alissa for representing for the planet and the animals, we need your voice and influence to change the world! I went vegan a few years ago and became an activist and my life has improved in every way. I got involved in environmental conservation and learned the truth about the destructive nature of cattle ranching, and the problem is so much bigger and closer to home than most people think. Go volunteer at an animal sanctuary or rescue, or get involved in activism, this is how you can see the truth and then you will want to change how you live.

Interesting discussion, Floor and Alissa! When it comes to feeling more empathy for one individual than for a large group, I also feel that it's a matter of association. It reminds me of an article from 1916 that stated: _"There is double the pathos for us in the death of one little New York waif from hunger than there is in a million deaths from famine in China."_ Perhaps it's an example of human tribalism and if many of us can't sympathise with human suffering simply because it takes place on the other side of the Earth and/or in a different culture, it's perhaps not too surprising that many can't sympathise with creatures from other parts of the animal kingdom. It's really sad, but at least things gradually seem to get a bit better. Thanks for posting this!

Fantastic video. You and Alissa raised a very important point. I agree with you 100%. We should all take care of our planet as we take care of our home and our surroundings. Let's take care of the environment. Let's start to change the world for the better with ourselves. Let's start to respect others regardless of their race, religion or beliefs. There is a nice saying to treat others as you would like to be treated yourself. I sincerely believe that.

This was very interesting :) Explaining that we humans don't intentionally wnat to trash the Earth but have evolved into people that are dependable on certain things and everything is in suchconvenience and don't really know the background or how it is produced etc is a really well and true responds. It's all about spreading awareness, knowledge and facts. Alos if the convenience is worth the damage. That is really good! Everything needs to be more sustainable. I see that this generation is more 'woke'. They are more aware about stuff which is very beautiful. Yes Alissa! I personally see planet earth as a living body and we humans and all other living creatures are just small organismn in this huge body and when there are too many of something, or resources are wrongly spend, repercussions are happening. One day to the next, vegan or vegatarian is not possible. But step by step, you can made significant changes. The first few steps are eating LESS meat and fish. Also buy the meat and fish from local businesses so the transport is much less. Also eat more local food overall to reduce the transport. Buy meat/fish that has better quality marks(keurmerken in het Nederlands) and create more meat substitutes. Those are some of the first steps for 'meat lovers'. Promote biological/ local/quality marks businesses. Spread what the option are so people actually know how it works better etc. I absolutely loved those videos where nature mmediately took over again, being that regenerative indeed. (no problem, Floor, it is a very hard word. I can hardly pronounce it either as a fello Dutchie ;)) I know the feeling. I have multiple English speaking friends but haven't spoken to them in a while so my accent is very thick again when I do and some words are much harder to pronounce again XD There deffinately is still hope. We DO ruin the planet at the moment but we can still turn it around but we do need to make changes before it IS too late. I think that is the biggest problem for most. You can do (small) things yourself but it's more expensive and harder to find and that causes people to not do it. Not putting blame here, just explaining the 'why'. There is certainly a growth in it Alissa, just like I stated furtehr up in my message, our generation is more aware. More open to new ideas and want to change things^^ That study you talk about, I don't know whcih, but what I had tot hink of immediately is the psychology of people. We go back to the basic that punishment is less effective than rewards. If you rais animals, encourige them with rewards, not punishments. Same for kids. It's how the human psyche works and you even see it back in that study you talk about! :D (that's also why I don't watch the normal news that often becaus eit is ONLY negativity. I wish they would balans it out some more.. Bad AND good news. Like news for kids do for example (jeugd journaal ;)). You still get the biggest things that happen in the world to stay aware but also the good things. Small and big :) My personal reason to change small things is a mix of animals and environment. Because in The Netherlands, we have much better quality for animal living spaces than in many other countries. Still it's far from perfect but not totally bad in comparisson. So I both look at environment AND animal wellfare. And indeed what she said, step by step. Not huge things suddenly becaus ethat won't last on the longrun. Wow that was a long message.. Oops.. I just found it very interesting and like to chat along as if I were there XD

Definitely hope you can get Johan Hegg of Amon Amarth on your show. That would be awesome!

So great to hear you two share good advice on environmental actions and slow-down living. Cheers from another Dutchie living in Sweden.
