Good flight demo! I'm just happy if I don't crash on the Maiden Flight ;-) Happy Flying!

Question 4 ya, I'm building my own scratch build Long Ez. Entire foam.plane is build. Just need to add motor & servos etc. Has a canard wing & swept wings in back. My question is what Tool or how can I make a straight cut to glue on tall fins/ rudders to left & right ends of the back wing? If I slapped on fins on front wing ends since its a straight wing I can check straight using a T square Ruler or Triangle tool. But since back wings are at an angle how to make sure the fins are going to be perfectly straight to glide the plane in a straight line ahead. By eye they Sorta look OK but a 2nd look one fins could be a quarter inch toed in or pointed slighted outward. Don't want my rc plane to drastically yaw either and crash on maiden flight. Any help would be good

Torque problems; my PunJet had massive torque problems. Would do a torque roll right on launch with a 3S. Should have tried a 2S. Instead, I gutted it and used all the components on other mini's.

I wish I had read this comment yesterday when I maidend my pun jet and it torque rolled right into the ground. I just finished rebuilding it but now I kinda want to build a long ez.

try adjusting the thrust angle to hlep with the torque of the motor

Thanks! I'll try that! :)

if the prop spins to the left the torque will turn the plane right, and vice versa.

I bet that was the problem! Thanks! So glad you were here to tell me this, Thanks! :)

some very late info. there are NO applications where the use of a PUSHER, S F prop is Correct !!!! it is not clear whether a zero-zero thrust configuration was used. the height of the vert-stabs is Excessive; which makes them HEAVY. this outboard-located Mass Adversely affects roll-axis stability !!!! i would suggest that stab height Should be reduced, by about fifty percent.!!! air flow to the prop is slightly impeded, by the bulk of the fuselage. floatiness comes from, the Canard and a cg that is a bit aft of where it Should be. it can be Seen that, whenEver the nose is elevated, the canard tends to raise the nose, EVEN more !!!! try moving the cg Forward, a bit. fyi, cg SHOULD be located at Thirty percent of chord/mac. mac is mean aerodynamic chord -- which must be used when the chord of a wing is not constant. like a fighter jet, a configuration such as this has a TAIL-heavy dom. distribution of mass. this Adverse condition MUST be mitigated, via the Optimal, Distribution of Mass. this (semi-low-wing) airframe should be inverted, when balancing it. in the case of a swept wing, mac will/should align with 45 to 50 percent of root chord. googletranslate illustration, only, of mac; lift line is Not correctly shown; at 30% of chord. www.gryffinaero.com/models/ffpages/tips/findmac/findmac.gif
