I was just on the grapevine vintage railroad page this morning and it said that puffy will be returning to service sometime in 2019 so I bet we can see her operational again either mid or late summer 2019 or early fall 2019

Old puffy is no more, it was replaced by 2 new engines in 2020

I heard anything yet on #2248 returning to service since the boiler had to be send off for repairs

I hadn't been over to Grapevine going on 3 years now since I lost my job in the Ft Worth area and want to go back to check a pair of Ex ConnDot New Haven painted FL9's they bought last year and parked at their shops
