Daigo always does the same: he tries to win without efforts, (hadokens, grabs and easy stuff), then, if he can't, he becomes more and more aggressive and it's when the show begins. The last part was merciless.

he picks ryu because ryu is a very versatile character. He can adapt well to pretty much any match-up but still, he's a character whose gameplay revolves around reading and controlling the opponent. If you think about it, not many people get very far with ryu and that's because he's a hard character to master. Daigo is the best ryu player for a reason and that is because his ryu is psychic and he never breaks.

At 12:57, Uryo would have went for EX Shoken FADC Shunpukyaku loop > EX Shunpukyaku > LP Shooken > Ultra II as a full meter combo. The Ganoon set-up is far better.

No other top-rated player sucks like Daigo, when the opponent is low on stamina.How come people cannot see that cheap spamming does not pay...I hate Sakura, but this risky play in the last round grew on me.This is what we, fans, want to see - something different and ambitious, bold and innovative.No matter if Daigo played for fun or for real, many people always yawn while watching.Rush down, offensive and fast play takes much more mind skills than defensive, ducking play.

Well if he blocks, Daigo knows he can just throw. If he throw techs Daigo knows he is pressing buttons. If he wakes up DP Daigo will bait it. Really it's a gamble and you just gotta play smart and know when it's ok to press buttons. Still Daigo is on a level a lot of us can only dream of reaching.
