what higuain did in 2015/16 for Napoli was comparable to Suarez 2013/14 at Liverpool. 36 goals in just 35 games with just 2 penalties. scored a freaking bicycle goal in the last game of the season. smashed the existing goal scoring record in Serie A history! just because it wasn't premier league or la liga, he didn't get the recognition. Higuain is by far the most overhated player in football history. Even his goal ratio at Real Madrid was just crazy.

Comparing how players in UCL without taking into account who they played for is somewhat weird. When comparing Benz and Kun for example, What do people say about City _every season_ "They don't have the heritage." What do people say about Real _every season_ "They are special in UCL. Even if they aren't that good they can still pull it off somehow". Well then naturally a player playing for Real should be doing better in the UCL than a player playing for City. One of them has the confidence, playing for a club that has done it countless times. The other one is playing for a club that has never done it.

Unpopular opinion: I think Lewy was better than Suarez. I'll be the first to say I have an agenda against but that aside, ppl who make it seem like the discussion isn't worthy makes me cringe. In the totality of the 2010s, Lewandowski outscores him 6 out of 10 seasons. And before ppl diss the Bundesliga, from 2011-2015, the Bundesliga was arguably the second best league in Europe, ffs we had an all German final in 2013. Secondly, Lewandowski's performance against Madrid in 2013 might be the best performance in the UCL outside of Messi and Ronaldo. I do think Suarez was a better overall player(even though Lewy is underrated as an overall player himself) but in terms of whose the better bagsman, I'm taking Lewandowski
