Pirlo is ahead of Modric, Modric has become so overrated after that ballon d’or robbery

That’s true, Maldini played with Ancelotti, they’ve won together 2 CL trophies as players.

You can’t say that Etoo was only a striker. Under Pep he was playing a lot in the right, under Jose at Inter, when he had to defend against Barca on Camp Nou, he was defending. Also his time at Mallorca is going under the radar, when he let Spain he was the player with most goals scored against Casillas.

Most about Harry is because he was playing in France, a European country.

Eto'o wasnt playing in a team with Zidane...so of course he was the focus point. Henry had to adjust his game to suit Zidane as the team was built around him. Zidane would be doing roulettes when Henry needed a through ball...as Arsenal they'd pass it to him...and see him score. At France, Zidane wouldnt do that, Henry needed the good CMS to release him...and play to his strenghts.

Lol...all the delusional people who think Eto'o was better. Lol..African or Martian...he wasnt better than Henry. All the delusional people and PL haters cant wrap their head around the fact that the best CF of the time wasnt playing in La Liga.

Only in this video has been a bit respected. Comparing footballers depends on the role they have in their team. I mean what he is asked to do on the pitch. Eto'o was a formidable dribler but you cannot have Ronaldinho in your team and you dribble ! It'll be asked to you only to score goals
@trevonmuhammad85664 ай бұрын
Henry had it all....touched the ball way more and dictated games. Better dribbler far superior technically including first touch and passing. He scored goals of every limd and was a beilliant set piece taker Eto'o was a robust finisher and a great athlete but had Ronaldinho snd then Messi creating space for him and taking the attention from him. He was also behind Milito the season Inter won the champions league and wasnt amazing that year. Henry was a generational talent/icon who changed the way the world saw strikers and Samuel was a great conventional player thats the difference.

Steven Gerrard could have moved to chelsea, Inter, AC, Real, while they were dominating leagues and europe and won more trophies than any other midfielder on the planet. Dont be silly...do more research please.

Henry was a better alright footballer. Eto on the other hand was a better striker/finisher. If you are building a team and to have the best sticker.... the one person you can guarantee to put the ball in the back of the net nig games / finals/ reg. League games .... eto'o is your man. Play outside the penalty box then you go for Henry.

I actually hear what he’s saying tbf, everyone sees the stats but don’t look at the bigger picture. Just look at his performances at the euros. Scored a couple big goals but doesn’t perform at the standard people think he is for the rest of the mat h

I never thought about that point about Wenger being ahead of his era with the Tekky small type of midfielder profile he had circa 2010 give or take. He was a visionary and influential for sure. Of course Pep and City are the standard now and rightfully so.

KDB is number 1 and im a bit of a historian with these things. Best Prem midfield 3 that i would want to see combined (personal preference) would be KDB, Fernandinho & Viera. That wpuld be awesome to behold technically, tactically and physically. Plus i think that could work chemistry wise.

In terms of natural talent Anelka was above Titi. If you do your research into the 90s even in Clairefontaine Anelka was considered more of a star. Titi made better choices and was more dedicated. Titi and Eto’o peaked in different eras so by the time they played together Titi’s Achilles had gone. I think Titi was a better overall player evidenced by his endless invention, playmaking abilities e.g. his 32⚽️/28🥾02/03 season and dominant performances whenever Arsenal won anything. Eto’o was a more ruthless 9 with seriously elite championship pedigree but, I just don’t feel he had the same invention. His football was swift, brutal and lethal but wasn’t as mesmerising.
