He scored goals of every limd and was a beilliant set piece taker Eto'o was a robust finisher and a great athlete but had Ronaldinho snd then Messi creating space for him and taking the attention from him. In terms of natural talent Anelka was above Titi. If you do your research into the 90s even in Clairefontaine Anelka was considered more of a star. Titi made better choices and was more dedicated. Titi and Eto’o peaked in different eras so by the time they played together Titi’s Achilles had gone. I think Titi was a better overall player evidenced by his endless invention, playmaking abilities e.g. his 32⚽️/28🥾02/03 season and dominant performances whenever Arsenal won anything. Eto’o was a more ruthless 9 with seriously elite championship pedigree but, I just don’t feel he had the same invention. His football was swift, brutal and lethal but wasn’t as mesmerising.
