i have no clue why i watch this, i mean, i'm hetero, married with kids so why am I here? Why have I watched every video for the past few years? Why do i watch Shaaba? I will tell you why, because it is great to understand others better.......if more people did this, the world would be a better place.

@@brimoririver6435 In the UK there is zero 'profit' in the NHS, it is entirely publicly funded, and you can only get what you need (sometimes you get less but that's a different thing). You talk about 'the structure of nature' but I expct you are unaware of just how messy nature is. Female is the default sex of all animals, every embryo, from fish to elephants to humans, begins developing as female and will continue to do so, irrespective of genetic markers, unless or until hormones from the mother tell it to do otherwise. If those hormones are irregular, then the embryo will get a mixed message, sometimes it is level of hormone, sometimes it is timing of hormone, and this produces the rather large variation in physical 'biological' sex, such as intersex and trans individuals, as well as cis women with XY genetics.

mghtymffn honestly same. Not the married with kids part, but the hetero part. I have a lot of friends who are lgbtq and I never really had a great understanding of that t. But with friends who are trans, I wanted to learn more, so I could be more accepting and understanding, because they’re the ones that matter in all of this. The world hasn’t accepted everyone completely yet but hopefully the more we learn the more we will.

@@SevCaswell In addition to the genetic variance of humanity, cultural variance is also significant, with many cultures throughout history and across the globe having, sometimes radically, different notions of gender identity. Many non Western cultures have recognised at least three distinct gender identities, with some cultures having still more. Personally, I'm inclined to think this is probably because of the variation of sex and chromosomal presentations.

As an older cis man, I can assure you that standing up to pee becomes less and less important as the years go by. It's far more convenient and comfortable to sit down, and as a bonus for those who have a female roommate or partner, you'll never get yelled at for leaving the seat up OR for peeing on the seat. Also if you have kids and you teach them to pee sitting down, the bathroom's a whole lot easier to clean.

@Jonathan Roberts Trans medical research is in it's infancy, and if you really cared about science rather than pushing a narrative you'd understand that. You want to break this down? I, Jamie, other trans people, have gender dysphoria. It's crippling and not something I can control, and testosterone has alleviated that immensely and has made me finally start to feel whole and correct in my physical form and presentation. If I lived alone on an island, I would still experience dysphoria. You can throw anything you want at me, but this is the reality for me and all other trans people able to take hormones.

Jammi, being a 50 year old gay man, I have spent many years watching my LGBT community change and grow. Your videos are really something wonderful. Growing up in the 70's I had no leadership or examples of what a gay man was, not to mention how life was going to be. Your videos answering questions so honestly are not only helping trans people but the people who support them. By being so detailed and open your TRULY helping people. I wish when I was a young boy in the 70's and 80's there was a resource like you to have answered my questions. I admire what your doing! Thank you.

In fact in almost sure here in Ireland they must mention trans issues in modern medicine. I mean trans people have become far more visible in my generation in Ireland and hundreds transition a year so surely they are training here. Well (I hope they are). Its an important medical issue. Fair play again, if only all staff were as open minded and curious as you. Trans people deserve our respect. I hope we start teaching little kids too to be more open minded

So like seemingly everyone here, I have no idea why KZbin recommended this to me. I'm a cis guy, last time I was interested in LGBTQ+ issues was at least a year ago, and my trans friends can be counted on one hand - Safe to say, I am not the main demographic for this kind of content. But I'm so glad that it _is_ being recommended. KZbin has a bad habit of half-hiding content they deem "non-advertiser friendly", so a lot of videos regarding transgendered and homosexual people isn't being seen by those who need it, such as young LGBT-identifying folks. Overall, your channel seems like a great resource for those who need it, and I'm glad KZbin is allowing it to be seen :)

I did the same thing with realizing that I'm not straight. I was just a really passionate ally 😂 Then I started getting more and more ads for things about being gay, movies, books, groups, etc and I thought "wow, gay people are really starting to get a lot more representation. That's awesome". And then I happened to look up my Google account info and there's a place where you can see all the things that Google algorithms decided you were: female, white, between 20-30. Things like that. And it had decided based on my searching habits, that didn't have anything sexual at all because it was a monitored work computer, that I was gay. It was literally like "you buy Calvin Klein, listen to Avril Lavigne, read books with strong female leads, own more boots than shoes. You are gay". Actually I'm pretty sure it was because I was semi active on gay rights political issues. I think I signed a petition way back when marriage rights were still not a thing yet and it flagged me. Anyway, google knows who you are before you admit it to yourself 😂

Of course I support my child’s decisions and needs unconditionally, but I still worry that others won’t. Having people speak openly and matter of factly about their own experiences helps others understand, and with understanding comes empathy and acceptance. You appear to be a really thoughtful person and I thank you once more for what you have done for Trans people and worrying parents like me. You have made this so much easier for me. My son has top surgery in April and I know he will feel more confident once it is done. So excited for him! Much love for you both xx UPDATE - He was so happy when he had top surgery but since September he has tried to commit suicide and now is on serious drugs that we are helping him get off hopefully for the 2nd time. He is hurting and feels that no one accepts him out side the house. It’s really hard but we will get him through this and all I can hope for is that he accepts himself. He knows he is loved but whether he feels it is another matter! 😞 Update - he has since been diagnosed with ADHD and Autism So is on medication. This has helped him a lot to understand himself. Now wonder he was stressed out. He now has been clean for a while and although still gets depressed he is not so hard on himself. Also being on Testosterone changes his hormones as well as his moods. He is doing so well and I’m as proud of him and his brother for handling everything so well. My boys do me proud! ☺️

I’m a sis gendered male he/him and I a sure I stumbled upon your videos while researching lbgtq+ topics because I am a middle school teacher in NYC and, as a district the policies on students in the LGBTQ+ community are getting better and better every day. KZbin is such a fantastic resource for both those in the community and those of us who are allies.

@@TheAstroflight And I'm sure it has nothing to do with bizarre KZbin 'rules' about what gets demonitized and/or flagged. Btw, congrats on being able to both call someone out for not using the 'correct' adult term while childishly taunting someone with that same word. That takes an incredible lack of self-awareness that is rarely seen these days, you must be so proud.

Thank you for being so open about the topic! Growing up in Slovenia, where LGBTQ is not as acceted thus not as talked about as it should be, much topics are still new to me. I love to learn and understand people who are different than me because it allows me to be more accepting to them and not to accidently offend them or do something harmful. Your videos are great source of info! Thank you! Hugs!

I know this is a super old video (I've been binge watching your stuff ever since I found your channel lmao) but this was super helpful!! I'm a cis guy and I feel scared to ask these kinds of questions out of fear of sounding disrespectful, so having them all answered here really helps haha. I also must admit, I'm a little jealous that transmasc balls aren't as sensitive, it must be a lot easier to deal with them every day 😌

Seen this video in my suggested for a while, finally took the plunge. I appreciate the honesty and the information. We can all be honest that the stuff between the legs goes a long way for a lot of us for intimacy. It is considered unacceptable to talk about what a trans person has, but same time its rather important for what we want/expect/etc. Very glad you are comfortable to help people understand!

As an MTF this is very informative. It's also confirming for me about what I want in my transition because all that talk about balls wiggling around made me cringe! lol I definitely want GRS and it's funny no matter what other people need for their transition it is all unique to that person and you look so happy and content! I'm so happy for you and I hope my transition to female will go as well as your transition to male.
