They still do every week. Not on video but they do. I get it in my email every week. But they have so many traders trying to get funded they don't have to be aggressive with the marketing anyway. Ftmo is a brand name now. 😄

There are no interviews because they don't have a significant sustainable income. Making 10% in a week let alone one month is impossible without gambling. The videos on youtube of people saying they passed are experiencing euphoria from their successful gambling. Their crash is inevitable and it will be painful! This challenge is not for traders, its for gamblers

Cash Flow, I'm super skeptical too. This week I made 13% up to Thursday with a 3% drawdown. I finished the week on + 8% risking less than 1% per trade.

That 16k profit account just goes to show that a high win rate is meaningless. 30% win rate and still made 16k+. It is amusing that the higher win rates ones shown here had a very small RRR.

I dont know if my strategy is okay with ftmo, sometimes i use 10 lots per trade but very tight stoploss, sometimes 20 lots but i make sure my loss per trade is not more than 0.50 of the capital.

Something strange with the last account metrix. Maximum account loss for the 50k was set at 10k, while max daily loss was set at 5k. Why so?

Hi Khang Le , The Trading Objective of Max loss is 10% from the initial capital. For example: You have normal risk account and your current balance is 10 000 USD. If your loss exceeds more than 1000 USD, you have violated our Trading Objective Max Loss. Another example: If you let your standard account grow from 100 000USD to 200 000USD, your Max Loss is still limited to 90 000USD. (200 000USD - 110 000USD) Is it clear now? @@FTMOcom , if you grew your account to 200k why do you not get a max daily loss of 105k then? its still 5k daily loss even though your trading with your profits, if you grow your account to 200k take your 70 split and put into own trading account where there are 0 rules, 5k drawdown per day isnt enough, maybe 10% daily and 20% max

don't worry and trust your strategy/trading plan. I'm also doing my first challenge and was down over 6% because of bad psychology making me trade outside of my plan, I stopped doing that and stuck to my plan and now I am only down 0.3% and will finish in profit for the free re-try at the challenege. Just trust your strategy and don't try to rush it

Yeah, I blew the demo challenge when I thought I could trade sick last week. You've really gotta be on top of it. I'm feeling better and I'm up 7.5% this week on the same challenge, it won't count as a pass most likely, but I sure feel better about my skills healthy, LOL.

​@@minenhlemthokozisi5530 Try having a set limit. Example. Today I was up 8 or 9% and when I slipped 1 or 2 % I decided to stop and not trade again until tomorrow. Try being self-aware and if it doesn't work right away, start a trading journal. Normally, we just talk about logging trades, but I mean, talk about your emotions too if that could have impacted your decisions. Be aware, that even with a good strategy, if that good strategy meets the right condition it won't work. It's likely the conditions will still be different the rest of that trading day. Depending on your sleep schedule, it could just mean taking a break until different markets open. For a while there I was trading really well in the evening and into the night but fresh ideas and fresh money from the London open would mess me up . . . or it could be I was up half the night. Either way, even if I was feeling fresh, I'd back off. If I'm really determined to still try the markets I'll just not use my FTMO demo account to place the trades. They usually also fail, but at least I didn't mess up my FTMO demo more. A couple weeks ago, they'd often do better when I switched accounts because I'd set a trade and fall asleep. Now monitoring my trades is no longer messing me up as my vision of what is happening and what is likely to happen improves. About a month ago, only my trades which were left alone did well. Crazy, but true. I hope some of my experiences were of use to you, I may put this into a video and put it up.
