Hey thank you for your honesty. No, you're definitely not the only one. To be honest you shouldn't be hard on yourself. I love what you said about getting better coping skills, we'll all get there sometime. We're all doing the best we can! Best wishes to you and Max :)

Here's to weeknight drinks! They are what's getting me through this semester. Also (Trigger Warning), really as long as the coping mechanism isn't taking over your life (like addiction or eating disorder or such) it's probably OK, at least short term until you can establish "better" habits.

I don't cope well at all, but...if I can just get really interested in a video game I can separate myself from my physical self and kinda just be a game character for a while (if you have spare time, that's great). Currently playing Final Fantasy XIV (an mmorpg) under the name Balmung Azura, 'cause I'm a nerd. xD Otherwise, I (and I know this sounds insane for body dysphoria) but I take a shower...in the dark (well, enough light to see the outlines of shampoo etc.) just that I wear a binder and packer and boxer-briefs in the shower. I close my eyes, let the water run over me, and zone out, no stimulant drinks or anything necessary. I will occasionally drink...but I try to stay away from it just because I hate feeling not "sharp" or entirely "lucid" most of the time. I'm weird in that way, I think.

I think you're being too hard on yourself, being serious for a second here; it's pointless to make a video pretending that X will fully fix Y or worse to wallow. I connected to this video!
