Stephen A still fails to realize you can't compare generations. Economy and inflation are way different now. Really has nothing to do with the league itself. Although I do think there's way more talent now a days

@@almadeunrebel yea but the talent is still going up, it's the natural order of this with time People learn from previous greats and implement things earlier into their games and adapt. Also with the explosion of interest overseas we are seeing better and better prospects come from everywhere else. The talent level is rising for sure, it's harder than ever to just make the league. Stars will always be stars so previous stars would be stars today as well and vice versa but the baseline to make the league is definitely higher than ever

better shooters collectively from range? yes more 3 and "D" players yes? more triple threat players? yes but we are still not talking about quality, only what it looks like. McHale will give AD work, Kukoc would shit on Luka, Alonzo would eat every center in this league. Come back at me with players from 2009 on

@@almadeunrebel kukoc doesn't shit on luka and luka absolutely cooks kukoc alive. Mchale could give AD work but AD would give him work right back. AD the better defender and way more athletic. He's a better roll man and finisher at the rim. Mchale had the better back to the block game and more moves and he was better near the rim but they both elite players. Both of them can't guard each other. Mourning was nasty but he couldn't guard a lot of guys today either, plenty of guys give him just as much work. Through history in every we've seen nobody can actually guard the stars, every star gives work to everybody.

@@letmegetuhhh3959 how? luka would be looking at greatness in front of him. kukoc did it for real, buzzer beaters in a real era vs real resistance. luka does it in ASG defense intensity, I could get 10ppg in this era
