In a less-formal Answers News, Ken Ham & Bodie Hodge learn to make fudge... but Shannon Q and I start a drinking game and the topics fly from Jordan Peterson, Matt Dillahunty, the nature of truth, ASMR, bow hunting, famous debates, the coming new year, and everything you've wanted to know about fudge at the Ark Encounter.

Let me say I think your show is awesome. I love the way you use one's own logic against one. Not in an attacking way or ill spirited way. I believe you genuinely want people to have accurate information, and that is admiral. My question if you happen to see this on a year old video lol is what do you label one such as me who believes in a God but has no belief in religion or church

There are 6,350,295,000 calories in 100 tons of fudge, which is enough to keep me full of energy for nearly 7,000 years. Once I get my hands on some of Ken's miracle fudge, I'll be untouchable on Judgment Day. Can't judge me if I haven't died! Check back with me in another 6,000 years when my fudge runs out. It's extra potent because it was stirred with *two* hands, the way it's meant to be.

It was rough getting through both Matt Dillahunty debates, because both Jordan Peterson and Sye are so frustrating to listen to the words that come out of their mouth. Well, there seems to be some discord here if fudge is "american", and the case probably will be forever unresolved. According to wiki, the first mention of it has been in the US, but then, the receipt isn't all *that* complicated or strictly requires modern technology, so I won''t be surprised if fudge has been around as long as humankind has been able to extract pure sugar, in one form or another :-) And one thing is for sure, fudge isn't something "american only" anymore, it has been a worldwide sweet for decades now.

I've put the definition of my beliefs as "I hope there's a god LIKE Jesus, but I tend to doubt it, " so I find myself watching a lot of atheist KZbin videos and one Canadian pastor's videos and read Gnostic texts and the Bible sometimes, taking what I can from them, believing that certain moral lessons are more important than theological belief. It's complicated for me, I guess haha Edit: My body is a lemon, so I've had a HORRIBLE medical history my entire life. My family was well taken care of by the church, but I was told that my medical problems were God's mysterious ways and that I was CHOSEN to have these horrible medical problems because God knew I could handle it, which REALLY pissed me off!!! I decided that God wasn't beneficent as a teenager and now I hope that if God exists, He isn't an evil prick who gives teenagers chronic intractable pain!!! I HOPE the God I learned about doesn't exist, but i DO hope that the God Jesus talked about exists, but I really tend to doubt it based on my experience.

Quick math here-- one pound of fudge is 1868 calories. There are 2000 pounds per ton, so 90,000 pounds of fudge by 1868 calories equals 168,120,000 calories, or approximately 121 cardiac episodes. Also, Utah Outcasts did the best review of Ken Ham making fudge, it was hilarious!
@Leelilou
@Leelilou 5 жыл бұрын
Paul, Shannon, I became curious about the number of calories that is in one ton of fudge. So, I did some math. According to an article on calicocottage.com, a single piece of fudge (one cubic inch, apparently) should weigh, apparently, about .5 a pound. That is 8 ounces, for those who don't know. That means 2 pieces of fudge make a pound. A US ton has 2000 pounds. Your source, if I remember, says 8 ounces of fudge has 70 calories. Mine said 90. I will be doing the math for both. Using your source, at 140 calories per pound of fudge, we get a calorie count of 280,000 calories per ton. Using mine, at 180 calories per pound, we get a calorie count of 360,000 calories per ton. This is now something you know. Use that information how you will. :)

"Fudge is a uniquely american candy"... they appear to stray confidently away from reality even when discussing non religious matters.

That's 720 kilotons of energy more than enough to go to the moon and back twice, Why is Ken not building fudge fueled rockets?

You have to grunt to make the fudge come out. Peterson's talent is sounding intelligent. I know you guys want to have a genuine conversation with them but I refuse to spend any time with people as disingenuous as Eric and Sye. As for Bodie I wonder if he can sing tenor, ten or fifteen miles away.
