Fun fact: The nature of an Eldar's negative emotions (specifically, what emotion flavours their anger) determines which Aspect Warrior Shrine he/she will go to. For the Fire Dragons, the individual's anger would be flavored with white-hot destructive rage, the wanton desire to lash out and roar in anger. Perfect for the eldar candidate to work his/her anger management issues in the Fire Dragons Aspect Shrine.

You're exaggerating a fan's over-interpretation of a novel. When an eldar "puts on the war mask" they embrace what it is to be a warrior, and the aspects focus on specific skillsets. the eldar in the novel are suggesting that he join the temple to put his emotions in their proper place so he can set them aside and move on with his life. His feelings being resonant with a given aspect shrine does not mean he is has a pokemon type to be slotted into his elemental shrine. nor does it mean that aspect shrines have an emotional test to determine your particular flavour of angry before you can get in. You go to an aspect shrine you resonate with and you leave when you no longer resonate with that way of being. There are many reasons an Eldar may join a shrine, anger is only one of them. But the objectively correct one is that jetbikes are cool AF and going slow is for losers and Mon-keigh :D

Eldar are supposed to go through all the shrines over time, never being tied to any one and being capable of returning to non-combat life. Exarchs are the exception, the eldar who cannot leave a warrior aspect nor return to normal life. Most eldar see this as a tragedy and something to avoid.

He also wears the heaviest armour amongst the phoenix lords, making him pretty much a walking tank, while still very much retaining the classic eldar agility. This heavy armour use is obviously followed by all his aspect warriors as well.

the last edition was necron themed, the new one seems tyranid themed and i hope the one after that give the eldar some love, although i am not a fan of them i feel the pain of the fans who see their faction neglected for so long

I hope they start putting at the forefront two xeno factions for each edition, otherwise we should wait too many years for having them all covered. I mean, we still have (as far as I remember) Tyranids, Eldar, Orks and Tau. And while the 13th edition could have a narrative meaning because of its number, it would mean waiting quite a bit ^^".

Both Eldar Factions best enemies are going to be those that absolutely existentially threaten them, so Tyranids, and Necrons (and for the Dark Eldar, Chaos). Given how recent a push they’ve made for the Tyranids and Necrons, I reckon it’ll probably be the Tau that get love next

Fuegan has always been my favorite Eldar character and I think his old model still holds up pretty decent. Fire dragons gave me my best Eldar kill. I demo'd a building a bunch of Imperial Fist Centurions were standing on, then bbq'ed them while they tried to get out of the rubble. First and last time my friend used Centurions. Thanks for this vid!

Came here to say that - as of the release of the Eldar data cards - they made Fuegan Toughness 3. In fact they brought all the Phoenix Lords down to T3. Meanwhile Eldrad, an elf in a literal battle dress, is somehow Toughness 4. Make it make sense someone.

With the Tyrranids getting nasty again, it sounds like these Aspect Warriors are just what the Eldar need to deal with the problem. Nothing gets rid of bugs quite like microwaving them inside their own shells. Not really something you can adapt to since it is like trying to adapt to being put into an oven set on "Extra Crispy" and left in there for days.
