But right now he's the single strongest. This has been confirmed by most of the races in the series. It is implied that Slaanesh was active back then or at least her Daemons It explains why the Necrons built the Pylons in the first place. Had they failed to do so in time Chaos would have conquered the Universe 65 MILLION YEARS ago!

At first I thought he was talking about the deamons or "proto deamons" that were stalking/killing all the Old Ones during the war, but having Slaanesh acting or doing stuff in some natural or unconcious way makes sense. I mean not believing In demons doesn’t always mean not acknowledging their existence at all. As a very confident atheist myself I’d rationalize them as an extra dimensional species of animal. Classifying them how we do earthly animals wouldn’t make much sense so a new classification system would have to be made if you wanted to go that route. You can rationalize them as the complex, sentient reflection of pyschic energy.(depending on how that energy works it’s sometimes hard to not equate it with magic or religion but it can still be done) there are plenty of other ways, the specifics don’t matter. All that matters is that you don’t recognize them in a religious manner

While the Void Dragon was the strongest C'tan during the War in Heaven, I think the Outsider grew to be more powerful due to the fact that it went mad and is one of the only C'tan that never got split into shards.

I also believe people overlook how powerful a C'Tan would have to be to literally consume OTHER C'Tan. And besides madness, did this leave The Outsider with essences of their power as well? That would make The Outsider unimaginably more powerful than the other C'Tan, with only madness serving as its main weakness. I'm not sure, but I believe it was alluded to that the Dyson sphere the Outsider rests within was build by the Outsider. The scale of the Dyson Sphere is larger than any other artifact in the galaxy by a huge margin. Its frightening to think how powerful and technologically knowledgeable The Outsider would have to be to build such a device. And I question how mad The Outsider really is if it could build such a machine and voluntarily retire.

That actually kind of makes sense. There are no mechanics for diplomacy or social action in the tabletop or dawn of war games. So all you can do is fight for fun, with all the gods and characters as tiny figures or pixels, and either you or your opponent could flip the table or stop the game at any moment by yourself and no character could do anything about it. But neither of you do because fighting is so much fun...the true ending to the universe will come when both Gork and Mork get bored fighting each other and can't find any other fun fights...

I think that’s actually not as uncommon of a theory as you might think! Well in 40k gods become more powerful the more worshippers they have, and the Ork and human ratio is completely one sided to the Ork's favour, so....

I'd basically rank them based on who "won". Without any doubt Gork and Mork have won, meaning the galaxy is exactly in the state they want it to be, in an all out ragin war, a perfect playground for theyr children. Tzeencth also won, because the grat game delights him and the brewing state of different factions doing many things is what he needs to thrive. Khorne is another clear winer, because of caurse the god of violence would be a winner in the warhammer universe. So these 3 are kinda on the same level. Nurgle is a winner, but he is somewhat in between, because the galaxy is stagnating and rotting, but things sometimes change and new thing are born, so he is a winner but with an asterisc i'd say. Slaneesh is in "between", in a galaxy so vast there are definetly a lot of people who experience lots of pleasure but the overwhelming majority of them are in misery and the eldar will probably never go back to they giant orgies so... She far from winning and far from losing. Still Ynnead might slay her, so who knows. All the other gods have "lost", they are either in pieces or running away. Some might come back even stronger than before and change everything but GW won't do that for a loooooong time. I don't know if the tyrannid hive mind is a "god", but it's very close yes.

I would say this mirrors the Orks as if Orks cant find a good enough fight they will just fight each other. I also think this is why blue tactical chos god doesn't want to get too powerful incase it comes to there attention.

Its been speculated in lore that the Void Dragon may be this machine god, making him the Omnissiah

Not necesarily in "size", but in strength/power. Every time a a god goes agaisnt them, they get squashed, badly. And thats the problem, they are squashed so easily that Gork/Mork can't bother to pay attention to them. It's not a real fight. Orks outnumber everything in the galaxy. Even more than Tyranids (tyranids don't kill each other like orks). 100% of that brutal mass is in complete fanatical religious frenzy for those exact two gods, mass that also happens to wield the power of imagination, in perfect tune with the demands of their gods. Unlike other gods that demand sacrifices, suffering, some sort of loss and abandonment one's self, what an orks wants, needs and desire, is exactly what feeds their Gork and Mork. The happier they are, the stronger the gods. Thats a prasing batery that any deity would envy.

Also(1 year later ik), Slaanesh gains power from every form of pleasure and satisfaction, what we are used to is just the extreme. All gods exist from the basic forms of what their known for, Khorne is anger, Nurgle is diseases, Tzeentch is knowledge ans technically change(including evolution) and Slaanesh is any form of joy or happiness. War, plagues, extreme forms of pleasures and whatever Tzeentch is suposed to be the extreme of, is just the worst part of it all. As they are also the gods of other things, like Nurgle is also the god of life and Slannesh is technically happiness.

I've been on a Majorkill 40k lore video binge for a few days now, basically over the New Year holiday and a couple days. These videos have really expanded my understanding of the 40k universe while Astartes and TTS introduced me to it. I have been mulling over a theory of late especially after Majorkill explained Ynnead and the whole Eldar last ditch plan to beat Slaanesh. If the Eldar do succeed in awakening Ynnead fully and defeating Slaanesh, what of some other Eldar gods supplanting the other Lords of Chaos. What if Isha is freed from Nurgle's imprisonment and either defeats him, imprisons him, or just balances him out to end his nonstop pandemic spree? What if Khaine's shards are all brought back together and Khaine kicks Khorne off of his skull throne? What if by some scheme or trickery Cegorach defeats and replaces Tzeentch?

Thats a good vid as always but when you mentioned that tzeench was once the most powerful it was all the other three chaos gods attacking it. Once slaanesh was created by the eldar in the warp it had always existed as time works differently in the warp. It said that in an older eldar codex. The other gods shattered tzeenchs staff and if tzeench finds all the pieces it will be stronger again. It sent some demon to find the bits and all its followers are on the look out.

There's a theory that the Golden Throne is actually halting the Big E's regeneration, and if the throne was switched off or something, he'd regen back into the Emprah (I know I'm spelling it wrong, it's on purpose) and also that Abaddon is part of a prophecy and that's why he has ridiculous plot armour. He is supposed to break the throne and be the one that brings back the Emprah. I happen to think this is awesome and hope it's true. It would be amazing if Abby was successful in breaking the throne, but then Big Empz regens on the spot and spanks Abby, then explains to him that he was actually part of a prophecy to bring back Empz. This in turn has an effect on Abby and he becomes good again and is then a living saint.

I feel this does Slaneesh dirty. Slaneesh is indeed young, but every other chaos god is terrified of it. Slaneesh gains power from all-consuming, single-minded obsession, and EVERY chaos god and their legions represent the purest possible form of that kind of obsession in their various works. Thus, Slaneesh has by far the most potential of any of the ruinous powers, as the other chaos gods fear the strange and unique power that Slaneesh holds over them. Can anyone answer this theory I've had in the back of my head? Orcs use their psychic power to improve their weapons, despite being made of scrap and random parts. They especially believe that paint schemes will make their tech better, Specifically yellow explosives creating a bigger boom. My question is: If any faction created a weapon to specifically launch yellow paint at orcs to make them collectively think they'll explode and destory themselves, would it work?

The Orc Gestalt field affects how the machine is meant to run, i.e. red warbikes will be faster. If you fired yellow paint at orcs they're not going to think they'll blow up they'll think their guns will have more explosive dakka. So you've just made their dakka more deadly to your own side.

I kinda want the Void dragon to wake up. Theoretically he could just turn off the warp, leaving Chaos trapped in hell, but more interestingly, Technically leave the Emperor powerless in terms of psionic power - because no warp means no warp powers, even for Big E. Keeping him right next door to Terra, on Mars, might not have been the Emperor's smartest idea, the Necrons already proved they could gain a foothold on Mars even with a relatively small dynasty.

Basically during the War in Heaven the Old Ones changed the warp. It's theorised they either seperated the warp and reality or they turned it into a weapon making it the dangerous place it is today and causeing the birth of proto-daemons. When the Eldar murder-fucked Slaanesh into existance it tore a hole in space called the Eye of Terror. Basically the black hole at the centre of the galaxy. Either from energy building up from it's continual weaponisation, from the ever increasing numbers of psykers using powers especially in war, or in an attempt to re-merge itself with realspace; the warp has grown more and more volitile. During the war on Cadia the energy built up so much reality buckled and ripped, this rip is the Cicatrix Maledictum.

It got all fucked up and angry and when the pointy ears started murder-fucking each other it copied. All that magical crap joined together into a god that stabbed its way into realspace. It built energy up and up until it ripped through to realspace again using the Slaanesh hole like a priest would a young boys arsehole making rips where is couldn't fit. Those arsehole rips are the Great Rift.
