I must have watched a different video. He didn’t glamorize anything. The man simply stated his enjoyment for the job and that he feels it’s good money. We should be making $130,000+ but that’s not how the cookie crumbles in this industry, for the most part. I’m confused at your definition of glamorizing. Please elaborate on your understanding of what took place during this interview.

Isnt low 100k median income now? Im confused, u still live paycheck to paycheck in California at 100k a year. Taxes and and tax bracket is 24% plus the 12% state income tax and. Ot including other deductions, sonur looking at about $4700 a month to spend on bills. Im confused why yall keep trying to glamorize a 100k income in California when that is almost median income.

@roadwavetrucker326i used to live in California then moved to texas during covid. Since i brought my home when i was 21, and now 37 i was able to purchase and build a 5,000 sqft home with my equity and have no mortgage. I work at walmart as a driver now making avg of 115-123k a yr debt free. When i lived in California i owned and operated 3-5 units for 13 years and since i had a mortgage in victorville from 2008 i was only paying 1349 a month still with no debt. Ive been to 22 countries and will be able to retire in 12years. In California because of self employment taxes and higher tax rates making over 6digits u bring home 62k after taxes compared to texas its more of 81k. All of my friends are in high professional fields and live paycheck to paycheck even making well over 100k. Ao since u tried to be funny and make a comment to be funny i wanted to show you how to financially embarrass someone who wants to be funny.

It’s actually 70k net after taxes in California. Leaves about 5.9k a month as a single person more than enough if u paying 2500 a month for rent plus car n insurance u still got 2k+ left lol
