I'm glad you did this for KZbin. I'm about to replace my pump but I'm going to cut a hole since there are so many rusted in place bits

As always thanks for the video. Getting ready to do mine. Also I always use small party balloons to cover most hose openings, when doing any project. They work great.

Worried about torquing that keeper ring to specs after that hack job on the uni-body is funny man!

+Glen Harper Clearly someone has never had a nut spinning in the frame before. When it was all said and done, I welded it up to make it nice and pretty. :)

That's why your videos are so good- you show the real world scenarios. How else were ya gonna fix it? Great video.

I feel there has to be a better way to solve the broken nut inside the frame. Could you have just welded a nut to the outside of the frame? Or maybe tried tapping the hole?

+Zeus Carver Welding the nut on the outside of the frame was my initial idea. I said that I was hesitant to do this because the place was filled with gas fumes as well as a completely empty tank. It wasn't until after the tank was out of the room and the place aired out that I felt comfortable welding (which I did).

I’m having trouble with my fuel pump on my 2002 Chrysler 300m high-output.
