okay, I have a doubt, I'm using a longer vaccum hose for fuel pressure regulator than the stock length, what happens if I cut and make it shorter to connect into the intake? how the engine respond with a shorter vacuum hose and it's fuel relation? An advice or suggestion would highly appreciated. Thanks.

I ALWAYS use 3M or Mission brand silicone paste to lubricate the slider pins which is also a di-electric grease u can use to protect your electrical connectors. Always use a silicone or specially formulated grease that is NOT petroleum based bcuz petroleum makes rubber boots n bushings swell.

CORRECT SCREWDRIVER to use: JIS (Japan Industrial Standard) which has only one side angle then flat end tip. Everyone is saying to use #3 Phillips which has two angles b4 the flat end tip, look very closely. Now if the rotor screws are rusted, I do not know for sure, but I am guessing JIS makes bits for manual impact screwdriver and air/power tools. All Japanese car manufacturers use JIS screws which are different, so I always used regular screwdrivers bcuz I did not know either. Hope this helps Japanese car owners everywhere.

my second accumulator piston is just a spring sticking out the front. the inner piece is nowhere to be found, and the transmission was flaring bad 1-2. Where can I find a part like that?

So on the 99 the reg vs express is just the speed? Idk if its the same but on my 03 the difference between the two depends on on the sweep of the switch, when i hit the button to roll my driver window down if i only press the button half way/ half sweep it stops when i break the circuit or let off the button. When i press it full sweep it runs or the window rolls down even after i break the switch or let off the button. I assume when it reaches the bottom of the track and can travel no more the resistance builds and the circuit is broke. I havent noticed a difference in the speed of either. Are these two different systems between the 99 model and the 03 model?

Do you know if it worked? I'm doing one in the morning. I may use my new line with a Dorman High-pressure union rated 5000psi. My power steering line is also pitted, so there is little to grab onto with the union. I may use the new line to allow me to put the union repair where it works better on the line.

My problem isn't the splined shaft in the trans but the rusty carrier bearing on the passenger side. Just ordered a slide hammer and a couple of "c" shaped wedges but I might try the chain method too.

@ballhawk3872 ай бұрын
Thanks. The buried rear portion of my line was impossible to get at without *major* dismantling, which would have cost a king's ransom at a shop. The joker in the deck was that the outer diameters of the aftermarket line was just slightly larger than the original, 10mm and 3/8", respectively. So I ordered an adapter compression fitting from McMaster-Carr, A 10mm compression fitting would probably work, but I went for the best fit and highest quality available.

if theres no any resistence/block in the circuit, so does that means that theres no voltage/presure in the circuit,? Am i wrong? Is that called voltage drop is same as voltage meaning?

Good video. I have the symptoms of an exhaust obstruction. Strong 20 inches, then as I throttle up (in park, no load) it starts to sputter and loses vacuum. It a simple v8, Oldsmobile 307 but it been troublesome. I’ve been through multiple sets of plug/ wires and distributors. New fuel pump filter even overhauled the motor. I guess I’m gonna check the fuel pressure tomorrow . Oh and I have no exhaust restriction. But maybe I have carburetor problems. I don’t know what else it could be.
