Fuel pump wiring

Sorry about the audio. Today I fix someones hack job and rewire a Suzuki C50 fuel pump.

did you simply heat shrink the wires to the broken contacts?

No. I soldered the connection and then protected it with heat shrink.

I have a new pump but it's a 3 pin plug and my old one is a 4 pin plug ,will it work?

I doubt it. Id get a proper replacement.
