What code were you getting? I’ve replaced the purge valve and purge solenoid still getting a p0042 small leak

@@VAlien79 i added a extra ground cable and ran it through the ground sensor next to the negative side of the battery the same sensor that the original factory ground runs through and now I have no problems starting the truck and no engine codes. My local dealer said there was a low voltage issue and there was a code for that, they said they fixed it but when I got home the issue wasn’t fixed so I watched your video ( I hope your the correct person who posted the video adding a additional ground cable??) so I added the 2nd ground cable and instantly no error code and truck starts EVERY TIME 🤙🏼⚡️💯😎

Anyway I had a problem with starting the truck and someone posted a video about adding an additional ground cable and it fixed the error code and starting issue. But it’s GREAT that you guys share your videos and experiences with us it TRULY is a life saver 🤙🏼ALOHA FROM HAWAII 🤙🏼🌺🌈💯

Awesome video! I'm guessing here, bit I've changed my purge solenoid and vent solenoid trying to get rid of my CEL to no avail... my emissions leak could be a faulty tank pressure sensor, no?

So mine broke coming out it and the gasket are stuck in the fuel pump im guessing i have to remove the fuel pump and push it out from the inside

Yes but you may need to clear the code after replacing it.

What were the symptoms for you do know you had to change this sensor?

If you have replaced the EVAP vent valve and fuel cap and still have a EVAP leak code I would be looking at this sensor. What codes do you have?

tommy tarver P018b and P0455, truck stalled, engine light goes in and it very other ride or so. Rough idle sometimes. When I stomp on it it’s as if it’s not wanting to shift gears. Stays on that gear but the Roma shootout too 5k

@@tommytarver3060 I have replaced purge valve and cap. Code set again for small leak. Changed tank vent valve. Now getting large leak. Scanner still detects tank pressure building to .16 . How can a code set for large leak ?

Not worth changing just the sensor its better go head n replace the whole fuel pump

Freaking GM pumps. I did a new Delco fuel pump about a year ago. Lines were trash, so replaced all those. Now a year later, I noticed my fuel pressure will be 43psi then randomly drop to 0 and bounce back up. I don't feel it because it normally happens randomly while I'm de-accelerating. Of course, no codes. 😓🤔😑
