Cheers bro, that helps a little.I polybushed my 540iat last year, now I discover the cills are ruined, wish id seen this when I had the subframe out 😑 now to undo all that hard work to remove the fuel tank 🤣🤣😫 (I already want to cry remembering how fffin long it took me to force the handbrake cables through their pipe!)

We don’t have 530d touring in the states so we wouldn’t know if tanks are the same. Good luck

@@bimmermerchant i ask you because have a problem with 530d 2002 in 15 liters the car goes off. Change pump in tank, change fuel pipes change the leveler and again i have same problem? Do you have any idea which this problem?

you can add power directly to fuel pump and catch fuel in front of engine by disconnecting fuel line that connects to fuel rail. Or you can remove fuel pump and use a suction pump. Take the appropriate precautions when performing this task
