Fuel Tuner mod on 890 adventure R

Added FuelX fuel tuner to get rid of the low rpm throttle jerkiness.
I opted for the lite version instead of the pro. The lite has one map that is constantly monitoring AFR and will make changes on the fly, so if you were to do exhaust or airbox mod, it will adapt.
I also changed the timing chain tensioner for the dirt tricks. Supposedly it gets rid of the rattling sound when first starting the bike cold. MAKE SURE YOU REMOVE THE SPIDER WASHER AT THE BOTTOM OF THE CAP.

Hey john, i feel the bike is running richer than oem setup. It isn’t running as hot and fuel consumption has got more. It has done what i wanted it to do, so I’m happy with that. Having said that, i feel i should have gotten the pro version which gives you a control switch on the handlebar that enables you to fine tune the AFR. Basically it gives you ten maps. Map three is oem values, then the higher maps will give you richer settings and the lower maps 2&1 make it leaner. As far as the tensioner, it has been working fine, i really did that to get rid of the noise that felt like someone had thrown a bucket of nuts and bolts into the engine😁, and the reviews out there that indicated oem tensioner failure. My 2022 model never had any tensioner issues after 15000 miles, so i don’t know if that’s an actual failure or just hype. Either way, it did get rid of the noise, which is why i did it. So I’m happy with that also.

Haven’t had a real chance to go ride out on trails. We have snow and ice on trails here. I did ride it around my neighborhood for a quick test at low rom and it did feel better.
