The one line in this song that sticks with me is “One day the time may come” and coming back to this album after so many years and Wake Up Sunshine I realize that it was all about the struggles of growing up into something new. Just as Alex and the boys have shown here, don’t be afraid to grow into something new because you’ll always have the best memories of whatever you leave behind whether it’d be a part of yourself or activities that you used to do.

when the hijabi girl was getting trash thrown at her by those men in the truck, i literally cried. so many times in my life i’ve been discriminated against because of my religion and my race (i’m arabian as well) and it hurts so much. a teenage muslim girl sitting in her room listening to green day, all time low, black veil brides, etc. isn’t generally the image that pops up in people’s minds when they think of muslim girls. but thats who i am, and sometimes i get bashed by my family for the music i listen to, and it tends to make you feel alone and depressed. it makes you feel like you don’t have anyone to lean on, anyone to love, and it truly hurts. but its everywhere i go. school, home, public places in general. when i first heard that all time low were making a music video for good times, i thought it would be some sort of compilation of their achievements, something like the nice2knou video. the thought of any of my favorite bands even mentioning muslim girls was way out of my mind. but when i saw this video, it brought genuine tears to my eyes. thank you, all time low for not only bring happy tears to my eyes for once, but also realizing that us muslim women are also part of your fanbase. i love you.

My good times: ↪ Going to the cinema with my best friend, and us watching this video together for the first time in McDonald's beforehand ↪ Watching TV shows with my mum when we've had a bad day so that we can both feel better spending time together ↪ The moment I met my little brother for the first time ↪ Seeing All Time Low last May, and having the best time I've ever had with my friend by my side, two more of my friends slightly downstairs, and the girl I've fallen in love with down in standing, constantly in my field of view. I've had considerably more bad times than good times. I'm going to be blunt. But I never let go of those good times. Not ever.

This song honestly is the song I listen to when I'm sad or upset. It makes me remember that I need to keep fighting and not give up. It makes me remember all the times I'd get high and drunk with my friends and do idiotic things. Driving around my shitty town blasting cupcakke, screaming along to the words. First seeing my boyfriend, and first kissing him in my friends shitty car. Seeing my dad for the first time in 10 years. Going skinny dipping at least once each summer. It's weird to think just 5 months ago I was in a hospital rotting away because for some reason I couldn't see that life is worth living. This song honestly makes me feel so grateful.

you're lucky you can have those memories i've never had that kind of freedom before. i'm 16 and i haven't had my first kiss, been skinny dipping, i didn't even go to prom i have a few friends but they're not in to these kind of things like i am. they say that my wanderlust is stupid.

Good Times by All Time Low On a fault line late night Underneath the stars we came alive And singing to the sky just felt right I won't forget the good times While the punks started picking fights With the skater kids under city lights Remember how we laugh 'til we cried I won't forget the good times I never want to leave this sunset town But one day the time may come And I'll take you at your word and carry on I'll hate the goodbye But I won't forget the good times I won't forget the good times We were bare knuckle tight lip Middle fingers up ego trip Devil-may-care but we didn't mind I won't forget the good times With the boys in black smoking cigarettes Chasing girls who didn't know love yet As the bonfire moon came down I won't forget the good times I never want to leave this sunset town But one day the time may come And I'll take you at your word and carry on I'll hate the goodbye But I won't forget the good times I won't forget the good times When we laughed, when we cried Those were the days we owned the nights Locked away, lost in time I found the nerve to say that I never want to leave this sunset town But one day the time may come And I'll take you at your word and carry on I'll hate the goodbye But I won't forget the good times (Won't forget the good times) I won't forget the good times (Won't forget the good times) I never want to leave thsi sunset town But one day the time may come And I'll take you at your word and carry on I'll hate the goodbye But I won't forget the good times (I won't forget the good times)

"When the night is dark enough the stars shine bright" That quote has come to mean so much to mean. Since I first saw I've interpreted that it has to get worse for the good to be seen. If there was no darkness out in space the stars would not shine. The same works in life; if there are no bad times, no problems than there can't be any good times, anything that makes life worth living. The thing I love is how well the quote goes with the song though. Good Times isn't just about leaving school, it's about leaving the earth. All the good times you've had throughout your life and all the memories you want to remember. But among these good times will always be bad times and those memories, a lot of the time, seem to mean more to people than the good. Good Times and the quote, however, highlight the good memories and bring light to the fact that those problems are insignificant to the majority of your life, that they don't control you because you can find happiness regardless of that.

This song came out right before I moved from SoCal to Chicago. The lyrics were so perfect "I never wanna leave this sunset town." I grew up in SoCal, went to and graduated from the high school/college here, made life long friends, life long experiences, family and so much more. Permanently moving was the scariest thing in my life but I'm glad I took the leap.

My good times: Late nights under the stars with my friends. Making fun of crappy movies at 3 am with my friends. Laughing so hard i forget all my problems. Cooking with my mom, All these moments outweigh the bad in my life. My stepdad gives me the father i didnt have. My friends not only help me forget but work through my problems. I wont forget my good times

First heard this song the week of my HS graduation and I made it a point to listen to this song as I graduated. Almost a year since, I still feel like crying every time I hear it. That’s the power of an amazing song.

I heard this on the radio a few times, but I never realized it was ATL. This song is amazing, and its meaning (and the MV) is what the world needs right now. What I need right now. Where words fail, music speaks.

I remember the first time I heard this on the radio and _died_ because of how much I loved it, yet it also made me really sad. Now I'm big into like, pop-punk music and like a lot of All Time Low songs. This is still one of my favorite songs. ❤️❤️❤️

the only thing i hate about this video is they support LGBT
@gooster86 жыл бұрын
lonely CAT scuse me, could you please leave >:( ........please go hate somewhere else, personally that was my favorite part of the whole video, the LGBT support. I'm not gonna argue saying your opinion is wrong and everyone should support or anything but you don't have to say you "hated" the video only because of that. I will respect your view point and I will not try to change your mind but I will stand up for my belief so please do not have on any on of the LGBT community or the community as a whole. You can have your own opinion, I'm not saying you can't or that you should change your mind, I just don't want anyone to spread any hate. Just all I ask is to please do not hate, there's already so much hate in this world, I doubt you want to be just another person in this world that spreads hate. bye

Love how this song speaks to ending chapters in one's life. Listening to it at one point and then again years later would mean completely different things; different memories, different people, but ultimately there's the same message of carrying on with good memories as one goes on to the next part of life.

i actually really like it bc it's like one of those songs that if you feel shitty or stressed out (lol) it can take all of those thoughts out of your mind and i love songs like that but i also love all their other songs

People hate on the new album because they don't like the way it's going, just because you're a fan of something doesn't mean you have to love every single song and/or album by them. I actually like this album but, I don't like when people say things like this.
