As someone who has 2 Fuel Pak 3's sitting on a shelf. In my opinion a qualified dyno tuner is a much better choice. I had the first one done just to see if the hype was worth it. The second bike was two weeks later. It was worth every penny.

As a side note it took about 200 miles to auto tune my fp3's. Neighborhood stop and go, city stop and go, country roads, some interstate. It was a pain in the ass but it did eventually checkerboard nicely. I'd be way money ahead if I only dyno tuned from the beginning.

I appreciate the input! Must have been a big difference in results for you to do a dyno on your second bike 2 weeks later. I'll definitely consider that. Thanks for watching and sharing that!

@carlbruhn1772 Sounds like it was a pain. Mine is running good with just the base map, but hopefully I can get it even better with an auto tune. Thanks a lot for letting me know your experience with the FP3 and dynos! 👍

@@Southern_Hogz I will say Vance and Hines was absolutely fantastic on customer service. They sent me a base tune and answers to my questions. Fantastic support.

The bike sounds good👌🏿. Hope you get it dialed in👍🏿. I put just a tad bit of super glue on my GoPro mount. It helps it stay💪🏿.

Thanks, man! I wasn't sure how super glue would do, so I may try that. I appreciate it, and thanks for watching!

Bike sounds great. On my 04 it didn't play well with the fuelpak, I opted for the dynotune power vision, tuners definitely make a world of difference and Vance and Hines customer service is fantastic at helping dial the tune in. Did you get your chin mount from chinmounts? Mine came off during a ride on my Shoei Neotec 2. I opted to just go with the 3m on the side with extensions that bring the camera around to the front.

Thanks. It definitely runs better. And yeah, I did get it from chinmounts. Hopefully this new 3m adhesive will fix it, or I'll have to do the same. You like that Neotech 2?

@@Southern_Hogz so far absolutely. I wish it had a little more venting but other than that it'sbeen a great one helmet

Hopefully you got that auto tune figured out. I used a FP3 on my dyna and had the best tune when saw Vance and Hines in Sturgis. There’s a place on that app where you can send your tune to Vance and Hines. Or even call they have great customer service! Hope you get that figured out and the new chin mount adhesive soon!

I never could get it to do how I was expecting it to do. I went back to the base map and am going to keep that until I get back from our TN ride this weekend. I'll probably contact them before trying it again so I'll know exactly how the FP4 autotune is supposed to act. Thanks for watching and supporting! 👊

Hey buddy, I didn't know any other way to contact you but a friend and I are thinking about Riding the Natchez leaving out of Southwest, Va. on Tuesday. What is the weather giving and best stops as we start. We're not stopping at everyone but the most interesting ones.

The weather around the Tupelo area should be nice around the middle of next week. It's been a long while since I was very far North on the Trace. I CAN tell you there is a stop just South of the Tenn-Tom Waterway (pullout will be on your left) that has some Indian mounds that is pretty cool. I'll hit you back if I think of something else. That ought to be a good ride! 👍 Yall be safe!
