I really like this lens, it will be the first one I get when I switch to gfx

The used price, size and IQ make this one a must own I think. Love the lens reviews, have you thought about re-reviewing some of your early GF reviews, but for 102mp (or re-uploading in 4K)?

It's a good lens, and has at times been sold new for a discount ranging from about 30% to 50% off the full price. The minimum focus distance and 3.5 aperture are the only reasons I prefer the GF 45mm as a walk around lens when using a GFX camera, but the 50mm is fine when I know I will have ample light and won't likely be taking close-up photos.

The 45mm is top quality!

I feel like every system ought to have a comparatively small 40mm f/2.8 equivalent. Folks make demands of 35mm equivalent and 50mm equivalent lenses, but the 40mm are ones folks just let themselves enjoy. They usually aren't designs which push the envelope, where the optics raise the standard. Instead, they tend to focus on user experience, on being a good lens to just use. Seems like this nails it for GFX.

Great video 👍 I much prefer my gf45mm as it’s sharper and lets in more light and has that 23mm full frame focal length

The GF 45mm is a 35mm FF equivalent, perhaps you were thinking 23mm in aps-c?

Another interesting Fujifilm review. However, as I intend remaining with the apsc X system, the medium format offerings are not relevant to my needs, and the glass is too expensive compared to what can be obtained in the Fujifilm and 3rd party apsc world.
