Whenever I'm walking around in my city I will have this Anker power pack in my pocket so I don't have to think about where my battery level is at. If you are considering purchasing one, I would be forever grateful if you supported a creator and purchase it through my affiliate link

I’ve been an X-T3 user since it first came out and have not ever used an external battery pack. I have a couple of RAVPower 20,000 mAh and 26,800 mAh PD power banks to use just for my X-T3, but never needed them. I shoot mainly photography and have 3 batteries and have yet to completely drain all 3 in one day. Btw, love the video! I subbed.

Thanks for creating this video. It's very helpful. I've used xs10 for a few months. I feel very very grateful that the original package arrived with an extra battery!!! I can never go out without any extra battery! I was "teased" by my friends who use cameras by Sony or other manufacturers when I changed my battery after the short-period shooting.🤣 I was even shocked to know my friend who uses a Pentax camera didn't bring any charger or extra batteries with her on a one-week trip. Now I'm considering purchasing one more fuji battery or Anker Mobile Battery for my xs-10. Fuji needs to put more effort into batteries.

Yea when I had a canon 80d that battery was huge and I never had to worry about it dying on me in a day. Granted, that camera doesn’t have the same amount of tech/ energy pull as some of these fuji cameras. It’s nice that they addressed the battery in the XT4 but I guess they wanted to keep the XS10 size small so they gave us the small battery again lol. I still have mine since release 👍 edit: whenever I travel I have multiple batteries since I shoot video and photo. Talk about draining battery…lol

Good tip to stay away from 3rd party batteries. I have a few different brands and none of them last nearly as long as and aren't nearly as reliable as the Fuji battery. Best best is the Anker PD battery pack you mentioned. Cheers thanks for the video!

Thats the video i was looking for, thank you so much it helped me a lot. Does it also work with a Power Delivery wall plug charger or would you recommend a battery dummy?
@visionarywatts3 жыл бұрын
I've read that question online before. I don't have any experience will using it with a wall charger + USB-C but it should be the same concept as the computer charge or powerpack charge. Just make sure the voltage doesn't overcharge it.

thanks buddy 😄 I was thinking about the third party batteries not draining fully - don't you think the camera is just not reading the capacity correctly since it's not original? btw there's a brand called patona which should be really good. Don't know if we only have that here in europe though. cheeeers

Thanks for the great video. Do you know if the Anker powercore would work (charge the battery while in camera is in use) with a fuji X-a10... This is just a secondary camera that I can risk leaving alone for very long exposures...
@SvenPries4 жыл бұрын
Oh well, Ok ... I am using third party batteries for my x-e3 for a couple of months. )I don‘t have one with me, but they are completely red.) The ones I have can be used in the way as the originals. I never counted the shots I can take with them but I did never had the feeling that the originals are lasting far longer. They cost around 25 Euro for two of them and a loading dock. I usually use up 2 batterie charges when I go out shooting - but I do not constantly switch of the camera and have a few power consuming features turned on. So there might be room for improvement. I have seen at least one video comparing a few third party options and the results varied. Mine where tested good as well ...

Hi! I'm planning on buying my first fujifilm camera and I'm kinda torn between this one and xt30 ii but was actually leaning towards this one more but I came across a video that says overheating and fast draining battery is really bad with this camera. Any thoughts? Is it still worth it to buy this one?

Great video thanks a lot! Can I somehow connect this battery to the camera and film with it? So the camera is on the top of the flycam stabilizer, but how do I connect this battery to it? Do I need a camera cage to attach somehow this battery on it?... Please advise me if you know
@visionarywatts3 жыл бұрын
You can find a clamp connection that will attach to your pole (that will hold the battery) and just run the wire down to that or you can build a cage and find a threaded connection to screw into the cage that will hold the battery off to the side of the camera.

when gauging capacities of batteries, you should use watt-hours (WHr) and not milliamp hours (mAH). Power (watts) is a unit of voltage*amps, so milliamp hours can vary from batteries with different voltages. In this respect, watt-hours (WHr) are a more accurate way of gauging the capacity of batteries. For example, the fuji battery is 8.7 WHr and 1280 mAH, while the power bank is 96WHr and 26800mAH. Assuming 100% charging efficiency (which isn't the case, it is closer to 85%), you get 11 recharges using the (correct) WHr values, and using the misleading mAH values, you get almost 21 recharges. basically, compare WHr values and not mAH values for batteries, and also, expect to lose at least 10% due to energy loses from charging.

did fuji say if they would make a battery grip for the x-10?
@visionarywatts4 жыл бұрын
It hasn't been stated officially but that doesn't mean there won't be one from Fujifilm soon. As an alternative option, I expect to see one pop up from a third party source. I also have been wondering about a grip. Stay tuned!

If you go with Anker, get the listing that has the power pack, usb cable and the wall adapter (to charge the power brick). If you prefer the traditional wall charger for the batteries that will have to be bought separately.
