How would you compare the X10 with the Sony RX100? Sony with much larger sensor but F4.9 zoomed in vs the 2.8 on the X10. I would assume that the Sony is superior in the video department - so my main interest in the X20 now is the lens at 2.0-2.8 vs the 1.8-4.9 in the Sony RX100 - also the viewfinder now in X20 - would like to have a brighter lens zoomed in - but also love the looks of the X10/X20 - will still love my RX100 - but would use both - would love your input on the RX100 vs the X10

@igetsmart: no, but's very close. Go on my Flickr-Account "Ralfs Foto-Bude" you will find in the album of the X10 an example for the super-macro-mode. You only can set the Fn-Button and you can st the RAW-Mode on the Fn-Button. The setting of the other buttons is fixed. But i use the Quick-Menu for fast change of the setting. Don't compare RX100/X10 but RX100/X20. Because the X20 has improved picture- and video-quality. The X20 has now Full-HH-Video with 50p. I like the viewfinder of the X20.

Hi Ralf, which one would you recommend best? Fujifilm X10, X20, Lumix LX7 or Canon G15? I am very attracted to the X10 because of it´s retro look, sturdy feel and image quality, besides it´s cheaper now, but I know the other models exceed the X10's specs. Thanks!

I like the idea of RAW button - as you cannot use filters and affects in RAW - so I end switching back and forth quite often as I need RAW but also like some affect shots - I would prefer to have WB in menu as I do not change that often and make WB as RAW button and make current RAW as quick menu - as a button for Quick Menu is a must also - funct. button I would use for ISO - but could it be used to change to RAW?

Thanks Ralf, very helpful reply - very happy that function can be programmed to be RAW. I assume you have not had a chance to compare the RX100 to X20 as X20 not out till tomorrow - I will keep my RX100 for sure but just interested how it will compare to X20. I think the X20 will do a little better fully Zoomed in low light at F2.8 vs RX100 at 4.9 even though sensor is smaller. Your reviews are very helpful -
