Fujifilm X100VI Change These Settings First

No need to go into the menus to access the function buttons, just hold down the display back button for a second. Also you can map the back scroll wheel for a quick press and the custom film simulations appear, then scroll up or down with the same scroll. Very fast.

I just got a camera store update about my preorder. Apparently I would have gotten it by now if I went with the black one but every camera I’ve owned has been black so I had to change it up.

Tip 1 was huge! The top dial is cool but not practical while shooting and needing to make quick SS/iso adjustments 👍🏼

The ND Filter is standard on the lever at the front. Hold it for 3 seconds to turn it off and on.

That’s a long time to change a setting! Try moving it to that front button it’s great for moving from outdoors to indoors quickly:)

How did you come to terms with the appalling battery life? I Barely managed 2 hours and about 95 frames, today!

@ yeah. It’s improved a little bit but not much. I think it needed a couple of charging cycles. My 2 spare third party batteries actually last longer

Hi new to the X100Vi camera, I have noticed this thing with my camera where when I am cycling through the different film simulations and move the camera around while the menu is open, the pan is really slow like 10FPS slow(almost laggy), but when I am done selecting the simulation I want, it goes back to normal? is that common behaviour?

There is a boost mode you can find it under power management from there the performance option. Your camera might be set to ECO mode. I have mine set to normal and there is a slight lag but I never thought anything of it. I hope this helps
