definitely looks like lens to use if you have an X-T4 and want to create something that's reminiscent of a movie, perhaps a music video or even a short film. But for vlogging it's over kill. For most youtube videos it's over kill. I still want one, but can't find a proper use case because of the way content is absorbed now a days.

Totally agree. Not sure the price would be the same or even close to what it is. However this lens makes me excited for the future. I’m hoping SLRmagic will come out with a similar lens to compete with this one. Even a 1.5x would be nice

This is a little tricky since it is anamorphic, I’d put it at around a 60mm since it has a wider field of view due to the anamorphic nature Tough to say though, just think of it as roughly a medium/long lens

You probably need to enable “shoot without lens” This setting allows you to use lenses that have no electronics

you need to enable the "shoot without lens" setting on the xt4 to use lenses that do not communicate with the camera

Unless your camera does not have a desqueeze function in camera (I don’t think the XT4 does) you will need to desqueeze in your editing program.
