That is more than most other throwaway Servants does, at least. And that persistent and one-note fetish of his, while annoying, is at least more memorable than say, Eric Bloodaxe, who barely even exist in the back of your brain due to how forgettable and underused he is. As for Chaldea staff, they did show Sylvia once so far, but not the engineer guy who was with her.

The farm idea is really that bad? I mean, procuring an income of food in case of famine may be beneficial. Although how tf Nemo Baker gets the food? Mana? Eating bread made of mana to replenish yourself is like stealing money from your own bank account

They explained it on the foreigner event. The one with the submarine and stuff where Yang Guifei turns out to be the evil master mind. Basically speaking all the food they have is artificially created by Nemo Baker and the Marines by transforming the drops, mana and energy from the monsters into something edible. Based on the monster, the food can be plenty different or very restricted as for example during said event in the imaginary numbers space, the monster resembled marine life which in turn as stated in the event, only allowed for sea food and not the best as the materials, mana and energy from those creatures proved to be quite difficult to use hence Nemo Baker only made sure it was edible and poison free while trying to make something that looked good via mana manipulation or something like that. Back on the old Chaldea, they had plenty of food in stock to last for a year or so and with other facilities working they could again create their food via magecraft and alchemy as stated in one of the animes but in the border, it is harder to do hence why on Lostbelts, also one of the missions we have is to kinda secure a suitable source of food via hunting or socialising with the locals which is why LBs that are aggressive from the get go made survival way harder and that's why as repeated in many events, main stories, interludes and such. Doring those times, the border is only on rations rather than full course meals.

For example in the LB 3 prologue when we just arrived at the Wandering Sea/Novum Chaldea and Menuiere was supposed to hide himself on the Shadowboarder but was found and is joining our meeting with Sion. He explains "Well, a bunch of them got in the Boarder and they were really cute, so before I knew it I was going over to say hello ... Wait. No! Er, it's not like that. See I couldn't have them fiddling with the Boarder and messing things up, so I decided to give them a piece of my mind. Ahaha. For example in the very beginning of LB 4 when hearing that Nemo will be coming along with them to the LB in Shadowboarder and that Nemo seat is installed next to his he whispers or thinks to himself "Whoa, really? Captain's gonna be sitting next to me! This my big chance to show him what I am made of! I can't wait to get started)
