As pointed out I’m an idiot and forgot to show the Hobby Design Wheels. I will show them in part 1 of the video build :)

This one is on my bucket list. I've had a gorgeous Replicas and Miniatures GTO engine for over 20 years. When this model got released I kicked my old Gunze version to the curb, haha. I looked for ages for the MFH GTO wheel set and finally found one. I also got that Hobby Design exhaust tip set. But frankly, the stock exhausts in the kit are better. If you look closely Fujimi used a slide tool to make the elliptical hollows in the sides of the tips. That sorta blew me away. Nobody has ever gotten that detail correct in this scale. The RMM engine is unobtainable now but Historic Racing Miniatures version is almost as good and may still be in production. Good luck with your project.

Hi Paul looking forward to this one! I have this kit in my stash minus the Hobby Design stuff. Thanks! Cheers!

I do like the kit, but I'm not a fan that they molded the carburetors and intake onto the engine block. But overall I think it is a decent model and I might be tempted to get it

i have the fujimi and the protar kit of the 250 gto. the protar kit seems to be more detailed (opening doors and metal springs) but the hobby design as well as KA Models detail sets are both designed for fujimi kit which gives it a huge advantage

What’s not to like,it’s a a old Ferrari 250GTO. One of my favorite cars. Ever. I hear ya about the chrome parts. I have a hobby boss Saab tunnen jet and the sprue mounts are on the mating surface which is nice.very little clean up. Looking forward to seeing your build of it. Stay safe 🌲

Beautiful car, nice looking kit. I'm sure you'll do a cracking job with a few F Bombs. I look forward to see how detailed the engine will be.

The pe set looks better than the KA one for the Revell gto. It is a shame Fujimi didn't do the kit with opening doors and boot. The Revell kit actually has the sliding side windows which are a nice touch. Will be watching this with interest as always and it will be stunning when done! Roll on part 1 😁

What is it with Hobby Design? Their photo etch is great. Their resin is fantastic, decals are good, metal transfers are great, their instructions are absolutely dire!

You never showed the after market wheels. What the hell? That's the one part that will make or brake this kit.
