I moved from full frame (Canon 5DS R with Zeiss Otus 85mm) to GFX100 with the 110 and it’s honestly on par with the Zeiss lens, with the addition of autofocus, which makes it a winner in every aspect. My second favourite lens for the system is the 45mm which gives you that wide angle yet 3D pop kind of look. My wish list consists of a 24mm equivalent Tilt shift lens and a 100-400 zoom lens for landscapes!

For tilt-shift, you could check out the Cambo Actus camera which combines very nicely with a GFX.

The 110 really is a great lens. I use mine for dance and portrait photography and (like Mr. Laukli stated in this video) it basically makes your subjects look better. Unreservedly recommended :-)

If Fuji would offer the same mail-in sale (like they do in the US) in Germany, the 110 would be my next GF lens

This is the most capable lens that I have ever used. It is my first GF lens :) and not the last...

Wrong information. Lens compression is often misunderstood. The compression is dependent on the distance between sensor & the subjects, regardless of the lens used. By not moving, 87mm lens on FF and 110mm lens on GFX both results equal fov and compression. If you're using 110mm lens on FF, to keep the subhect the same size, you have to move further from the subject, which will increase the distance between sensor and sucject, hence more compression. Saying 110mm on GFX have the same compression as 110mm on FF is straight up wrong.

Thank you. It bothers me so much that this myth continues to be peddled by prominent photographers and companies. I got frustrated enough 7 years ago I wrote an article about it. It seems that more and more people have gotten the message, but it's really frustrating when a company like Fujifilm peddles such nonsense. admiringlight.com/blog/perspective-correcting-myth/

Saying that a GF 110mm produces the same angle of view than a FF 87mm but different compression since it is a 110mm focal length is pure nonsense. If you compare same angle of view, to get the same framing you will stand at the same distance of your subject and your background, so compression will be the same. Compression does not depend on gear, only on distances between you and your subject, and your subject and background. Fuji explained well this in the past when comparing FF and APS-C, but now Fuji say the opposite to promote their GF system...
