But it still says OFF . how do you turn the friggin' thing on? The red light on the unit comes on, but remote says OFF, and the sleep display does not count down?? Cheers

My remotes changed to Fahrenheit. How do I change it back to Celsius?

With the remote turned off (only the clock showing on the screen) hold the temperature ^ button until it shows either C or F. Then press ^ again to switch to the other measurement style.
