I recall it being similarly difficult to get it back in .. not much advice I can give other than keep trying, be gentle and I expect a thin metal spudger or spatula was used.

I really don't know for absolutely sure but looking at the titles of spares on eBay they look like they are the same thing.

I will let you know if Fujitsus cust service answers me. I found some U745 replacement keyboards in Ebay. Quite expensive but yeah if it's an only option.

Is there any way how to change the bios battery? My U745 is dead, won't turn on and also doensn't show any LED while plugged in? Any idea how i can fix this? Find the issue`? It happend after it was updating...it was supposed to turn on again. This didn't happen...

That doesn't sound like the bios battery. Not sure what it could be though.

What about replacing the cpu how easy would that be

That won't be possible unless you've got a BGA reflowing workstation. The CPU does not look like it is socket based but it is soldered onto the motherboard.

Does Fujitsu use a different motherboard for backlit/non-backlit keyboards? I know some Dell Latitudes do. It seems like you implied there is no difference in motherboard between the two keyboard versions Sir.

+Calliboss check for a connector in the place where the small gold ribbon cable goes.. best seen at 3:11 - near bottom left corner of copper CPU heatsync square. I don't know if all laptops have this connector but in my model the keyboard has the large white connector for keyboard and the small gold connector for the backlight.
