That’s so weird. Why is terminal illness the first thing that comes to your mind when watching this clip??? My soulmate, the love of my life of 26 years is, in fact terminally ill. Björk as a human being, the same as all of us. Yes she has a radiant heart and soul and I’m sure that her words comfort many people. And perhaps she would go sing to somebody that is dying. It’s just the fact that you brought terminal illness into a place where it doesn’t belong. I literally come to videos like this to escape the grief and pain and then i come across a nonchalant comment like this, which is supposed to come off as Sweet or whatever. In my opinion I feel like you just made light of terminal illness. Terminally ill people do not need explanations. They know what’s going on. And Björk is not a savior. I love her very very much and I don’t toss that word around. She is definitely special. But she is still a human being and her wisdom is no more infinite than the next wise persons. I’m not going to fix my grammar or structure. I’m just fucking sad now. Thanks. And what do you do exactly, do you sit around fantasizing about being terminally ill and having artist that you look up to come and explain it to you??? What the actual fuck man? Fucking weird comment.

Me too, since the Sugarcubes days. I was so lucky to see her after she released Debut, in Detroit, in a nice cozy theatre. One of the best concerts ever. The whole crowd swayed side to side, mesmerized. Even the three biker bears sitting nearby! It was like being under a spell together. Her sound was so new and unusual.

Step 1: Don't let her poke her fingers around the back of CRT televisions. The electron gun power supply has capacitor charged to 20,000 to 30,000 volts and it can stay charged almost indefinitely.

Gives me the chills to look at how she is just handling the CRT tube and pointing at the wires with bare hands. The flybacktransformer and capacitors inside could each individually kill you multiple times, as they store energy in as electric or magnetic fields even after the unit is powered off... Still interesting to watch.

It's really only the main smoothing cap in the PSU that'll give ye a good jolt, now if ye were to fuck around with the cap's in a microwave oven....they're just a little bit juicier, there were a few deaths of inexperienced peeps back in the 80's-90's from what I remembers ;o) Oh, and the final anode cap that Sonik refers to, about 18-24Kv(depends on the size of the CRT), but fortunately the pixies aren't too excited, not a lot of amperes, won't kill ya but will give you a tickle tho' heheh Funny Story: Whilst discharging the main smoother in a PSU with my ol' trusty dropper-resistor and monitoring the voltage drop with my meter, I wondered why the eff it was getting warm....looked over at my supply bench and whoopsies... I'd disconnected the wrong safe-block, lol thank fahk I hadn't just used a pair of pliers like some buggers did, that would've been a helluva spark and possibly welded the pliers to the ends of the cap...lol, fun times in TV repairs 30yrs ago :o)
