I love this video! As a Jamaican American applying for a Fulbright ETA for a country in Central Asia, it's refreshing to know that your school's principal was so involved in wanting to share your culture and heritage. 😊 Also, the Jamaican traditional dances are very kid friendly! There are some videos on KZbin of kiddos (and adults) in Jamaica performing the dances. Maybe that could be a cultural exchange for another time.

I honestly didn't know about these traditional dances until recently when my Grandma sent me a link to a festival. I would 100% think in the same ballpark you were thinking in. I'd probably play Sean Paul or something 😂 Although I recently discovered Ding Dong and he has some fun dances! Okay, I'll stop rambling. I appreciate your videos and your energy! on behalf of the partial disrespect you experienced, I am so sorry 😭 but on the bright side, sounds like you'll be prepared for the lawlessness of Taiwan lolol um, I would say my level was pretty decent. I could order noodles, but I couldn't order a medical diagnosis. And one of my roommates spoke not-a-lick of it. She wasn't the only one-- all of that to say, you'll probably be alright. At least a basement is built 😂 she was working with an empty lot

Mmmmm, Taiwan has been approving visas for school related entry (college/ Fulbright) but I'm not sure how their entry requirements for travel are. I know that Japan recently relaxed their travel entry a little.
